I went to Namaste India on 22nd May 2022.
Firstly and mainly food, most of the items were delicious. We had ordered idli, vada, manchurian, biryani, uttapam. The things which we didn't like was first uttapam as it was very thick. Though it was tasty but thickness screwed it. Second was idli, it was pretty rough and I felt it was prepared before. I am a huge lover of idli and after eating this, I was bit disheartened.
The thing I loved was biryani. It was the best biryani I ever had ❤️. Trust me, I would go there multiple times to have just that biryani. It was that delicious. And the korma served with it just added stars to our food.
Secondly, about service & ambience, both were good. We went on a Sunday and the staff was very polite and extremely cooperative. Ambience is also very decent.
Thirdly, price of the food. It is also decently priced. I was happy to see such good food at not so high prices if you compare it with other restaurants like Sarvana Bhavan, etc. I can say it's a "value for money" restaurant.
Feedback to restaurant: Your items are really good and so do the service. Just try to improve on few things like idli which can certainly help. I don't believe any Indian restaurant can go wrong with Idli. I will come again for sure but for delicious biryani &...
Read moreThe best non-veg and veg restaurant in the whole of East Ham. We had our son's 2nd birthday there last week and OMG did they deliver. From the point of initial enquiry till now, they have been amazing!
The service is out of this world, on par with a lot more high end restaurants, all the staff accommodated all our needs as well as our 40 guests. It was very busy with lots of kids, but the staff never disturbed us and let us enjoy our party. A special mention to Bharath who personally made sure we got everything we wanted and was speaking to us nearly on the daily basis to make sure we got everything. No detail was missed, everything we asked for - we got. The staff also packed all the leftover food so we could take it home and nothing was wasted. The event ran on time and food was ready as soon as guests arrived.
The food is so delicious - omg all our guests kept raving about it. We loved it so much too. Its very hard to get tasty non-veg food in East ham and boy did they deliver! Must try chicken 65, mutton rolls, chicken biriyani and lamb virunagar curry. I am actually veg and loved the gobi 65, chilli panner, masala chips, veg biriyani and the veg kurma is to die for! The garlic naan was so good too. Omg the food is amazing!
Cannot recommend this restaurant enough!! Do go...
Read moreListen Customers clearly - this restaurant ambience is pretty decent thastwhy I visited this Saturday 04/11 for the second time. Ordered Chicken Lollipop and Chicken Biryani, they served a poor biryani and the meat was smelling a lot. When complained, the owner is justifying that he also had the same Biryani and he could not understand that I have returned the food back just eating a portion of rice. Then ordered Chicken Chettinad gravy, Malabar Parotta single and 2 Idly - suspect they made the gravy with the chicken pieces that was returned from the biryani.
They don't understand the food will impact our health, money does not matter here and after eating a bad food - what way it matters they did not charge money for the poor food???
The restaurant management should take this seriously and need to server the customer the best food, we are not animals to go n eat spoiled food.
Lets not adjust every time we face this kind of issue in the restaurant, if we leave that its an one off case and these people try to take advantage on that to do anything as their wish.
I have formally written a complaint to London Port Health Authority (LPHA) and hope they check the food quality of...
