Very poor customer service! I have gone to do my annual phone MOT and the staff member was very rude. I had asked if there was a problem with my phone on why I was not getting any signal on my workplace and he replied to me saying it was "common sense" that the problem was just that EE did not cover that area properly (I work in London where everyone of my co-workers do have signal) although what I learnt in my degree is that your phone antenna could be just weak compared to the other devices (could be manufacturing issue). Then he did some stuff on my phone that i was not able to see because i was in front of him and he was holding the phone with the screen faced on his direction. Should not i be told beforehand if he was going to do that and ask for my permission? because it is my personal phone and i do have my privacy and I do need to see what he is doing on my phone!!! After that software check he just handed my phone back and said that everything was done. And because of all that he had done, I got really angry and without being offensive i showed him on the EE page that in the MOT is clearly stated that they need to clean my phone too especially because of Covid I need him to clean it before handing it over and he told me that they only do that in bigger stores. I called customer services to ask about it and they told me that all store should be able to do that. I went back to him to make him do what I was supposed to get, but he was refusing until I made him speak with customer services and his excuse to them was that i told him to clean the charging port too (which I did not) but where did his "common sense" go? Should not he by "common sense", clean up my phone before handing it over (especially on Covid) and say that they do not provide the charging port cleaning (which i did not ask), instead of telling me to go in a different store??? Worst and pathetic service centre.The service team are quite misleading and fooling the customer.Went on 2.7.24 to upgrade for a device.Executive Mr. Mohammed came up with a combo offer advising that it's just a difference of 6 pounds.But when checked with the customer care centre I understood that the total device .plan was just 48.50 pound and together with the smart watch it's 68.50 that means it was 20 pound major difference.Whereas simply for the device I would hve paid 48.50 pound but now I end up paying 69 pounds for no use.Hence on 3.7.24 I showed up to the store for returing the smart watch When I requested for Return policy,they are unwilling to process it ,infact there is a 14days' Change of mind 'The Manager thinks he is King Charles , completely hesitant to talk ,where as the customer service guy(Indian Kerala guy) was completely arrogant and rude behaving as if I am receiving some charity from them.This EE Eastham branch is completely disastrous making ppl lose their hard earned money and fooling people.They are not doing a favour to the customer,infact our hard earned money is going to thier pockets filling thier tummy.They are simply mocking the customer and laughing at our back ,I experienced this while I was just abt to leave the store I really feel completely CHEATED and disheartened by this whole incident.Hope EE will train the executive on professional behaviour ,which is completely lacking at this branch.
