Nkora Coffee - Barnet — Restaurant in London

Had the worst customer experience in my life! I was a regular customer at this coffee for along time. Today I went to have a take away latte ,and requested extra milk for my coffee to the barista on till, as the coffee was not strong. She suddenly started yelling at me saying "why you asked an extra milk, my coffee is peefect, if I give you extra milk wilk it will go to the waste , you will not need!" I was so shocked with this answer and kindly replied "I just need some milk, I did not say your coffee was bad". She then took the milk bottle and poured the cold milk to my coffee huffing and puffing, with fast movements . I said what are you doing , you cannot just put cold milk on top, it will make my coffee go cold. She then started arguing and yelling at me. She refused to heat the milk and took my coffee cup and pretending the milk on the machine litterally for 1-2seconds. She then poured it to the coffe and she threw the extra left milk on the jar to the drain and yelling at me saying "Look , do you see this milk is going to the bin now because of you! " When I said it is enough , you cannot behave a customer like this , she started yelling at me again non stop. I had heard enough from her , I went to another member of stuff to explain but he also refused to listen and did nothing! Unbelieveable, it was like a joke. She then came to me still shouting and yelling, I said stop you cannot yell at people. I was shaking of anger. They refunded my for the coffee eventually and left me out kf the shop ,wasting my time and lwft mein utter anger and pain. All I asked was to have extra milk, that was all. A customer, should not be treated like this. I asked what was her name I would complain her management and she wrote on a paper "No Name" Then she wrote Emily, I am not sure if this is her real name. Horrible service I will never go there again. I’m usually client of botanika so I was expecting a good service on nkora coffe too . Coffe arrived without sugar when I asked the waiter Emily for it she said :” it’s at the end of the bar “. Like litually serve your self . I had better service at costa . We were 5 people and a baby , We paid for coffe in and not take away because we didn’t want to walk on the cold with a baby but was ridiculous the service was very disappointing I’m sorry for the lady Sissi because she was really nice and polite but Emily was ridiculous to busy for the costumer but had lots of time to seat and chat with a young man sitting on the table on our back . It was our first time and our last for sure I don’t recommend this coffe place better to go on Caffè Nero or costa you will have for sure better...

Best coffee in High Barnet (if you have dairy or oat milk), and a nice place to sit. Only complaint are the coffees with Soya Milk, which turn to a porridge-like texture almost every time and are almost undrinkable. The barista said it is due to the brand of soya milk they use, but the sister Nkora branches in St.Albans and Shoreditch use the same brand, and don't have the same issue which suggest it's a training issue...
