There is a useful Waitrose here, it is probably the shop that draws others to the Spires. There is JD Sports which pulls people in, especially young people. Also a spacious H & M. Inexpensive, stylish clothes popular again with young people but also people of all ages, such as.myself. I can almost always find something i.like. New milkshake and frozen Yoghourt outlet. Colourful, clean and welcoming, again appeals across the age range . Two brilliant new venues at the entrance to the Spires. Botanics does creative high quality food (vegetarian/vegan) and has an attractive lush Tropical greenhouse ambience. The other place sells top quality coffee amongst other items. Minimalist decor. Despite there being empty units here, sadly, there are several other good shops. Expensive, classy menswear shop, phone shop (02), Savers bargain cosmetics, cleaning items, over the counter medication etc. Brilliant take away pizza place with really delicious pizzas, top quality, very tasty. WH Smith's, Coffee Bean for a coffee and/or a meal. Several more clothes outlets, shoe repairers, IT and phone repair shop. Last but not least a friendly well managed Waterstones book shop. Roman and Red, two other clothing stores for Women are also always worth a visit.Car parking NCP usually plenty of space. Overall The Spires is very well.managed. Pity they cannot let...

Possibly thousands of common soldiers buried where they fell but NO memorial to the fallen soldiers pressed into service by their...

On this narrow and limited space, a parcel of acid grassland, trickling brooks, ponds and a surprising variety of scattered trees. Within minutes I’d spotted swathes of Tormentil and clusters of Cranesbill. Pleasant, peaceful; the expertise and maintenance clearly evident here. Largely unheralded, deserving of wider recognition...
