Olive Three — Restaurant in London

We really don't know, what can we say in praise of this brunch venue that hasn't been said already, and that isn't about the food and service, which were both flawless obviously. As has been stated on numerous occasions on here already. So, erm... hmmm, erm... how about the decor. Anyone done the decor yet..? Exposed brickwork, lovely pointing, top job, brickie knows their craft. Ceiling plant, also exposed. Nice ducting, tidy and efficient well arranged hangers, clean passthrough on that RSJ. Nice bit of rendering on the smooth walls too. Good stone on the floors, solid, well seen, good palette. Architrave, doors, louvres on the kitchen, glasswork, garden area roof, so many things to notice, while eating the most delish dishes at very reasonable prices, cooked with aplomb and no small degree of flair, and served by friendly and welcoming staff, in a super chill atmosphere with a refreshing ambience. Oh and the carrelage dans la salle de bain, that green, gorgeous hue, lovely glaze. So deep and rich, lose yourself in there. Like a limpid pool in a forest a thousand miles away from London... And the music, multi-room, piped throughout, and real hip wiggling Latin brass today, to cleanse the mind and aid one’s digestion. Nice, all of it. Must be, or we wouldn’t be here typing this. We never do these review things, or very rarely anyway. But we do understand that they’re good for business, and we like to support a good business when we find one. A Hidden Gem in Wood Green – The Olive Three I’ve been following The Olive Three on Instagram for a while now, but only recently realised it’s right on my doorstep. Tucked away from the chaos of Wood Green, walking into this café feels like stepping into a peaceful oasis. The contrast is wild—you leave the noisy streets behind and are instantly transported to a calm, beautifully curated space that’s full of warmth and charm. From the moment you walk in, you’re wrapped in a sense of serenity. The space is so thoughtfully designed, it genuinely doesn’t feel like you're in London anymore. It’s tranquil, welcoming, and just effortlessly cool. A proper 5-star café experience. And clearly I’m not the only one who thinks so—just look at the glowing reviews. The owner is incredible—so kind, so passionate, and makes you feel right at home. And then there’s the food… wow. The first time I went, I had the prawns, and I haven’t stopped talking about them since. Easily the best I’ve ever had. I want to take everyone I know just so they can experience it too. I went back over the weekend with my family, and the breakfast blew us away. My 9-year-old niece literally said, “I want to stay forever and eat pancakes.” If that doesn’t sum it up, I don’t know what does. This place deserves awards. Truly. If you haven’t been—go. Fabulous cafe restaurant with lovely friendly staff, Nina was so welcoming and looked after our big family table beautifully. All seven amazing drinks and brunch dishes arrived together super quickly and were piping hot with high end ingredients & made by a great chef. Super delicious and healthy. These were the “Olive Three” breakfast which is effectively a De Luxe full English, the Vegetarian breakfast - 2 eggs your way, lovely creamy spinach, Portobello mushroom, roasted tomatoes, avocado, hash browns, halloumi, baked beans …! … and top class sourdough toast, the Eggs Benedict and the ‘Avocado & Mix Seeds’ which is toasted sourdough, 2 poached eggs, 2 portions mashed and seasoned avocado, Scottish smoked salmon (or choose bacon)sprinkled with healthy seeds. Did I mention the dishes are beautifully presented with pea shoots garnish. Plus a shockingly big and good Club Sandwich. The cafe is licenced with good range of wine, Prosecco, beer and spirits - but it was too early for booze and we enjoyed iced coffees, a massive pot of English Breakfast Tea, herb teas and iced vanilla matcha and juices. Great decor, music and vibes with a sunny plant-filled garden - amazing to find a Holland Park-style eatery in the back streets of Wood Green! And half the price! Great value £! We...
