PAYA Cuisine (Sidcup) — Restaurant in London

Me and my family used this takeaway for the first time. I never normally leave reviews at all at places that we ate at but really wanted to warn poeple before spending your hard earn cash here. The food was absolutely awful! I've ate many tai, Chinese foods in my time and this has to be the worst I've ever eaten. The rice was rock solid, the curry sauce was in the smallest cartons I've ever seen and was very watery and tasteless. Chic curry was absolutely bland. The squid was so hard I almost broke my teeth on it. Chips looked like they had been sat there for days. We basically left the majority of what we had ordered. We also got charged service charge plus delivery fee which we were not prewarned about. Especially when we spent nearly £50.this should be free. I only noticed this when I received my receipt. I did call the restaurant to let them know about the food. I was told the manager was not there to speak to me and that they would ask him to call me to discuss a refund for the food in which we did not eat. It's been 4 weeks and the manager still has not rang me. If he had rang me to resolve this issue, I would have not given this review but seeing as he did not have the decency to call me then this gives me no option. POSITIVE REVIEWS MUST BE FAKE. I mean you can SEE how most are one STAR. DONT ORDER FROM HERE THE MOST DISGUSTING FOOD EVER!!!!! We preordered our food at 4, Keep in mind that this place is only ten minutes away from my house on car, the estimated time was 5, but then they pushed it to 5:15. They lied about the food being dispatched because they didn’t want to slightly alter one of the meals (make it spicy). They lied about traffic on the way and actually came LATE to deliver the food. The portion sizes were ridiculously small, the food was expensive. This would’ve been fine, except the food was DISGUSTING. It was vile, it had no flavours except for cheap seasoning you get from a corner shop. These people don’t know food AT ALL. Ordered a pad Kee mao and got HOFUN instead. Refused to give a refund unless they got their food back and at 6pm they told us they wouldn’t come to collect the food until 11pm!!!!!!!!!! Had to get half of money refunded from just eat. These people are a disgrace. My step sons 21st birthday and he wanted a Chinese so we ordered from here the food totalled to £110 so you would think they would ensure the food was fresh and edible. THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE! Food was stale snd cold noodles tasted bland and was hot in the middle and cold around the edges ( as if microwaved) there was not one item that was edible and to top it when we called the restaurant to complain they were disgustingly rude to us they said they would collect the food and refund it but when they arrived to collect they was aggressive used threatening behaviour and refused to refund the money. 2 weeks later they ignore our calls and texts we’ve sent them bank details and we have still not received any form of refund.
