Antalya Turkish Grill — Restaurant in London

2nd time visiting the place.

I don't live too close to the area and the first time I went there, I went by chance and the place was decent.

The young staff in the shop was attentive and made sure I was being looked after even though it was fairly busy.

Because of this I travelled again to go and eat there.

I wasn't too hungry but was craving a bit of doner kebab so I asked for a kids meat and chips meal.

The guy, who looked like the owner was not friendly.

I asked for the kids meal and he questioned why I want a kids meal. Does it matter what a customer wants? Kids meal basically means small meal and that's what I wanted on this day.

Made the situation awkward.

When I was trying to make convo with him, he didn't seem interested at all.

Later a different worker served my meal. I asked if I could have some salad and the worker gave me a tiny bit of salad. Like literally a small handful.

I then went to pay and it was that same owner who I mentioned who took my money. He didn't ask what drink I wanted. I had to remind him that a drink comes with my order.

He then tried to charge me £1 extra because of that tiny salad which I didn't know was an extra charge.

Last time they gave it to me so I assumed it was part of the meal like a lot of kebab shops.

He ended up giving my £1 back.

In the future they should warn the customer if there's an extra charge. It's simple customer service which they lack.

In the end when I was leaving I thanked the boss and said bye but I didn't get any response back lol.

Anyways I thought this would be a place I would regularly go to but I'm afraid I won't anymore and neither would I recommend my friends and family to this place.

It's such a shame how businesses like this lack knowledge on...

Not sure about a coal grill here , seems they use some heating contraption that trys to mimic a charcoal grill , the shish was like it was the usual microwave oven texture , or cooked by electric induction , looks like the real thing , but when you taste it ... well it ain't charcoal. The food also gave me the trots .

People you are easily pleased .

To top it all , I was sitting down in blackfen road and one of the jovial uncocked meat specialist workers there said we do the best kebab, plz come and see us again ... erm , well if I want a week off work , I know where 2 go .

Check out there grill , it oscillates .. it's a heating thing not a true grill . I'm not talking about the doner ( dog food ) grill I'm talking the other thing middle of shop .

Absolutely diabolical if I could give 0 stars believe me it would have been In the minus, rang to place an order with specific instruction even though the kebab was overpriced ordered anyway due to being bank holiday and local wasn’t open kebab turned up inedible and I MEAN inedible, meat undercooked to the point of the animal still being alive, called the restaurant to let rip only to be hung up on!! Absolute sham restaurant for the quality of the food to creatures who work there !
