Pepe's — Restaurant in London

This is my third time visiting the Edmonton Green branch of Pepe's Piri Piri, and they’ve been consistent every single time. The whole peri-peri chicken is absolutely delicious—always cooked perfectly with tender meat and that signature smoky flavor. The sauce is amazing, with just the right amount of spice to give it a kick without being overwhelming.

The salad was fresh and simple, a nice balance to the richness of the chicken. The fries? Addictive as always. They’re crispy, golden, and coated with that signature peri-peri seasoning that takes them to another level.

The food came out quickly, and the staff were polite and efficient, which I really appreciate. For a takeaway spot, they’ve nailed the balance between good service and quality food.

I am a regular customer and had a bad experience four months ago, which led me to leaving a 1 star review.

Because I left a bad review for the last two times I visited including just now at 8pm on Sun 17th Aug 2025, they have just told me they have run out of chicken and it will take 30 mins for the chicken to cook.

Two weeks ago I was told 1 hour for the chicken to be cooked. When I returned after an hour, no chicken was available at 9pm.

This Pepe’s branch like to play fun and games with certain customers. So looks like we will boycott and go to Roosters Piri Piri in Enfield which is only 10 mins away.
