I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a pizza that truly exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment it arrived, I could tell it was going to be something special. The pizza was served piping hot, with steam rising as I opened the box—a clear sign of freshness and proper cooking. The heat was just right, keeping the cheese melted and the crust warm without being overdone.

The ingredients were incredibly rich and varied. Every slice was generously topped with a colorful mix of fresh vegetables, flavorful meats, and just the right amount of cheese. I've been going to Pizza Del Sud for a while. I used to deal with Vito who I now found out has left and sold this business to someone else.

I tried to call Pizza Del Sud, spoke to a lady explaining my Pizza requirements but the line kept dropping off so not off to the best of starts. I tried to call back 3 times.

I decided to still go ahead and go there in person and see if the Pizza is still to the same standard, I'm always wary when a business changes owners.

I arrived and I was greeted by a nice lady called Nancy. She was very smiley and pleasant. I explained I wanted a vegan pizza but wanted to add my own vegan cheese which I had brought with me. She said this will be fine.

She started to make the pizza and it was all looking good. The only thing was my Vegano pizza had Aubergines included but she forgot to put this on the pizza. I politely asked her to add the aubergines which she did,

The Pizza's turned out great and to the same standard as before when Vito was running things. I've given 4 stars as the aubergine was forgotten about and calling them directly was a painful experience as the line kept dropping. Also, not a big thing but the Pizza boxes were different and not the standard boxes that Vito used to give. Presentation is everything.

I would come again and it is still the best Pizza in the area, Great job...

At the cost of sounding arrogant, I want to prelude saying I am Italian born and bred, and am very familiar with what good pizza should taste like.

I found the quality of food at Pizza del Sud to be as good as can be found at any proper pizzeria, far superior to the average takeaway place. The crust is crispy on the outside, with the right amount of charring, but light and chewy on the inside, like good ciabatta bread.

It is located in South Harrow market, which does not ooze “excellent quality food” vibes - but don’t let that put you off, this pizza is delicious.

I like my pizza with a lot of vegetable toppings, and this leads me to the only criticism I have for Pizza del Sud: I find the charges for additional toppings to be too high to justify. Personally I am not happy to spend £1.50 for additional basil, when for the same price I can buy a whole basil plant. But that is me, and it does not put me off leaving this 5-star review, and stating with confidence I will return to Pizza del Sud - I will stick to my margherita and sort out my own toppings.

Overall, a delightful find in my new neighbour, I will definitely come back. Bravi, alla...
