Food is excellent….when you can ACTUALLY get near it. Buffet is fairly priced…….when you can ACTUALLY enjoy it. Service is alright but could be worked on. Atmosphere….HA!!!! If I wanted to have kids hover next to the table I’m eating at whilst chewing open mouthed “showing off” and then running about, I’d have gone to somewhere like McDonalds or KFC. Pizza Hut NEEDS to have a policy in place where the PARENTS are asked to keep their children under control. It’s absolutely disgusting to see kids (animals behave better) picking up pizza with their bare hands and then putting it back down, coughing all over the buffet, taking unnecessarily huge amounts of one item and then not even eating it all. My Assistance Dog was constantly harassed by the kids and she wore a vest clearly stating not to touch and signage a 2 year old could understand.
Don’t get me wrong, kids are kids and need teaching from their parents on how to do better but all I was told today is “we can’t discipline kids”. I wasn’t asking you to discipline the kids, I asked if you could talk to the PARENTS about keeping their kids from running round like wild chimpanzees in a zoo If it means a family is kicked out because the kid is running round. All you could answer back was “even if they slip and kill themselves, we can’t tell them off as the parents will have a go”.
Well let me put this to you…My Assistance Dog is for Cardiac Alert, Fainting Response AND Mobility support. Children running rampant everywhere is incredibly DANGEROUS, not just for myself and my TASKING / WORKING assistance dog but those running around can also get hurt too especially on some of her equipment!! Her equipment is over £3000 in total plus a further £13,470 in training and Public Access Tests. All this equipment to help me feel confident enough and safe enough to go out could easily be broken by a kid running into my assistance dog which then endangers not just my safety but also MY LIFE!!! (there’s parts of her vest like her Rigid Handle that can get bent and become unusable, leather that can be scratched / damaged, important devices in her vest pockets that I need to stay alive and much more!) I will be taking this further is a policy is not brought in soon whereby children must NOT run around the hut and must act in a respectful manner. Any who do not, the families get warned twice and then asked to leave. THE HUT ISN’T JUST FOR KIDS, IT’S...
Read moreAlthough I am personally not big fan of Pizza Hut food as I find it little bit plastic like, slightly tasteless; but I’m going to comment on my tonight’s experience. We came in and nobody was noticing us at the waiting for tables area for a while, even a couple who came after us decided to take their own seats instead of continuing waiting for someone, so we did the same afterwards. After sitting down we scanned the QR code on the table and started ordering through the online service. A waitress came and set two drinks on our table. We didn’t yet press pay (order) but we didn’t reject the drinks either we felt it was a nice compliment after not being noticed. Plus points for unlimited salad area although once again even the salad items taste quite like nothing, but my partner liked it so I’ll go with that. When our VEGAN pizza arrived, which I have ordered by mistake, we were extremely disappointed as I don’t particularly like vegan cheese and things in general, and the staff was lovely to exchange it for us for normal pizza free of charge. We also ordered fries and my partner wasn’t happy and thought they were over cooked, the staff was once again happy to replace it without any sarcasm or unhappiness on their faces which is incredibly valuable, because I already felt bad for them 😅 Overall the pizza had a beautiful texture, the bread was crunchy, the cheese was lovely melted etc. I guess it’s just my personal taste buds not getting the Pizza Hut vibe, because my partner liked it all very much. But being objective our experience was 5 stars hence my rating.
Oh and PS I forgot to mention that they don’t have Coke 😫 only Pepsi and even that is from the machine not bottles :( very bad quality...
Read moreWasn't happy with the lack of service in which only one staff member was serving correctly, and the rest couldn't be bothered. It was the the same day as the Football World Cup and understanding that it was an important event to SOME people, (not EVERYONE). The first thing we noticed is the restaurant had not prepared for our arrival, even though we had booked and called to make sure there was no issues, We requested to have a table for 12 for my daughters birthday gathering as she had especially requested to eat pizza on her birthday but we had to wait 15-25 minutes for them to get organised and then we were led to the table in front of the bar where the owner/manager was listening and watching the final on his phone, but not in the background but physically ignoring anything going around him. We asked for glasses for drinks but having to ask the serving staff to distribute the glasses to either end of the table, earnt me frustrated look to say I was asking too much and that is not appropriate. We normally have a good time most days we go, but this day got me frustrated and would recommend not to go during and event day as service will be poor and will take longer so don't make plans for after as it will ruin the evening out.( if you want to risk it try booking for last event if your own night). O, nearly forgot to mention not only did they not clean and refresh the salad bar, they also had a lot of cross contamination between meat produce and other salad produce. Pls check cctv and take action pizza hut franchises, spoilt my mood and my daughters birthday...
