Punto Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in London

We visited Punto’s on Friday evening as a family of 6, 4 adults and 2 children. We live locally so had been keeping an eye on the recent renovations!

I know a restaurant review should not depend on the decoration however, this place now looks amazing. We loved all of the little touches, such as the wine racks on the wall and the amazing light features. We sat in a booth which was so spacious and lovely to sit around a round table instead of the usual rectangle tables you find in so many restaurants.

The staff were faultless, from the moment we stepped inside the restaurant we were looked after. Great hospitality for a local restaurant and completely unexpected. Again, the attention to detail from the staff makes this place a great local find. They served the children’s food with our starters so they weren’t waiting without us even asking for this. We were also treated to a magic trick that the kids were mesmerised by...We all tried (and failed!) to recreate it!

As someone who is gluten free I usually avoid Italian restaurants and the food is heavily gluten based. Luckily this restaurant caters for gluten intolerant diners like myself. Gianni checked once I had ordered if I was coeliac as the pizzas are cooked in the same oven, again fantastic service. Once my pizza arrived I had to double check that it was in fact gluten free as it was the most delicious gluten free pizza base that I have eaten.

Between us for our starters we ordered both the meat and vegetable anti pasti platters, garlic bread, focaccia and calamri. I have attached a photo of this as the portions were unbelievable for the price. For our mains we ordered some pasta dishes as well as the sea bass. We eat out regularly, both locally and in town, and we were extremely impressed by the taste of the meals as well as the quality of the ingredients.

Punto’s has vastly improved since its renovations and I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a great meal for a great price.

A Rainy Day Escape to Italy – A Memorable Experience at Punto Italian Ristorante

Earlier this week, we were on our way to Enfield when our daughter, suddenly craving pasta or pizza, declared she was hungry. Despite the miserable weather outside, we stumbled upon Punto Italian Ristorante, and what a find it was!

From the moment we stepped in, we were warmly welcomed and quickly seated. The rain may have been pouring outside, but inside we were enveloped in warmth, hospitality, and the comforting aromas of Italian cooking. We ended up spending a delightful two and a half hours there, and honestly, we could have stayed longer.

Our daughter chose a classic Bolognese pasta from a wonderfully diverse kids' menu and absolutely devoured it. For starters, we ordered the shrimp and octopus, both of which were fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. So impressed were we by the quality that we continued with a homemade-style lasagna that felt like it came straight from Nonna’s kitchen, and a divine seafood pasta that was bursting with flavour.

To accompany the food, we had a perfectly balanced Negroni and a delicious Martini and passion fruit cocktail crafted with real finesse.

Throughout our meal, we felt truly spoiled. The service was friendly, professional, and attentive without being overbearing. The staff made thoughtful suggestions, the music and atmosphere were spot on, and the overall vibe made us feel like we were somewhere in a hidden corner of Italy, enjoying a long lunch on a rainy holiday.

Desserts were the cherry on top: our daughter thoroughly enjoyed her profiteroles and ice cream, while we were blown away by the in-house made cheesecake and tiramisu, both rich, fresh, and utterly satisfying. To finish, we were treated to a limoncello digestive, the perfect close to a perfect meal.

We recently celebrated my uncle’s wedding at Punto, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to make the day unforgettable.

The atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming, perfect for such a meaningful occasion. The staff were incredibly attentive, professional, and kind, making sure every guest felt cared for throughout the evening.

The food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish, from appetizers to the main courses and desserts, was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Many guests are still talking about how delicious everything was!

What impressed us most was the seamless way the restaurant handled such an important event. The coordination, timing, and attention to detail made the entire celebration flow effortlessly.
