Queen's Diner — Restaurant in London

1/12/23- Where has the time gone. I'm sure I've been to the cafe during summer. Oh well, Jacket potato, tuna and sweetcorn is warming me up this morning :-D sooo scrummy.

2/2/23- it's been a while so I returned to my old ways, had to be a Jacket with tuna and sweet corn. Heaaaven!!!!

16/10/21- Jacket potato with tuna and sweetcorn ala bus. This was supposed to be my healthy meal at the cinema between movies.....didn't make it off the bus. The aromas took hold of me and that was it, I couldn't help myself. I feel sorry for the other people on the bus but they'll have to go to the cafe themselves I'm not sharing my tasty potato. 04/10/21- best decision this week: jacket potato tuna, sweetcorn and lashings of black pepper. It's tempting me to dig in before lunchtime. Can't believe it's still warm and I bought it at 8:30 this morning. 30/7/21 - Not sure how I did it folks but I managed to stay out the cafe for 2months! Well, I broke my fast today with a lush Jacket potato with tuna and sweetcorn and side salad. Even as I type my tummy is gurgling for the best food ever! 19/5/21 - Chicken Fajita and rice (sitting in), it's flying through the door. It's absolutely my favourite meal on the menu and now my day couldn't get better except cinema in the evening. 6/5/21 - post office run and some tasty unconventional brekkie (lamb curry and chips. Lord help me, the cafe is my vice! 2/2/21 - today folks it's my version of healthy eating: jacket potato with tuna and sweetcorn and a side of coleslaw. I don't know how I will get any work done after this tasty meal. Partner has lamb curry and rice with salad, he's hasn't even looked up since it landed on his plate. Lol 3/2/21 - Happy Belated New Year folks and happy year of the Ox. Choice is a cruel and tasty mistress at the cafe - today after much thought I'm having traditional brekkie - no regrets, no surrender! Indulging and almost missing work...run run press the on button. Hahaha 5/11/20 - Lockdown Day 1 started well with brekkie from the cafe. Mmmm mmm good, so tasty its hard to choose between chicken and rice or chicken and chips so we went half and half. 4/9/20 - lunch time and can't wait to tuck into my burger and chips. 14/3/20 - can you believe I've waited so long for my my-way mixup: chicken curry and chiiiips!!! 11/5/19 - Brekkie again: proper egg, bacon, sausage, hash browns, thick fluffy buttery toast and a cuppa. I'm ready for bed to wake up and eat it again! 14/4/19 - Brekkie at the café: chicken fajita (normally with rice or chips and salad) today I just wanted salad. Portions are really good and yummy! Proper hangover food. 24/2/19 - Had an amazing lamb curry with chips. It's like I made it at home and has exactly the amount of veg I love. Cleared my plate and definitely having this again. Aug 2018 - Regular customer, food is always good and the prices are a bargain for the quantity of you you get. The staff are super friendly and always have a good laugh at atlny meal. It's like being home without the washing...

Open! Normal working hours! They refurbished and this is the most comfortable seating even a posh restaurant can envy! Hand gels everywhere!! Condiments in sashes for best hygiene! Well done Queen's Diner!!! :)

My review from a year ago I updated: This is the best place I can eat my lunch, providing an excellent Turkish style cuisine, absolutely friendly, polite, positive and smiling stuff; the dishes are beautiful and tasty, the whole place is perfectly clean and tidy and you can actually see it being cleaned regularly all the time. Prices are the best you can possibly find around. It offers takeaway as well. Since I found it, I stopped cooking. 10 out...

I recently visited Queen's Diner and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food they served. The portions were big and satisfying, and the prices were very affordable. I was especially impressed by how tasty everything was, I ordered "brunch" from the menu which was £8 including the tea/coffee. The second time I asked for a Turkish dish called "Sucuklu yumurta" which was £7.50 including the tea. They have a large selection of breakfast dishes.

One downside of Queen's Diner is that they only accept cash, but the good news is that there is an ATM next door at the Co-op supermarket. Despite this minor inconvenience, I would definitely recommend this diner to anyone looking for a great meal at a great price.
