Shrewsbury Park — Attraction in London

A large open space with fields and woodland situated on the northern slopes of Shooters Hill. In recent years, Greenwich Council has done very little to maintain the park and much of the woodland has reverted to a natural state - many of the old paths are covered over with brambles and trees remain fallen where they fell. This park has a lovely mix of woods, open grass, and paths through bramble thickets. Excellent for blackberry picking in August. There are 2 swings on large trees and even some hidden paintings of characters from the Julia Donaldson and Alex Scheduler stories in amongst the trees. It's a lovely place to explore with children.
