Read moreA few steps from bhp station this is very convenient. It's a nice environment, and seemed nice and clean. As we were dining early on a Tuesday evening the place was very quiet, (one other couple), and as such service was very attentive but fortunately not at all intrusive.
Our starters, (onion bhajis and samosas), were freshly cooked, delicately spiced and generally delicious. The Murgi Massala main was a protein rich delight that I'll definitely be remembering for future visits, and the lamb shank was tender and tasty although not quite fall off the bone. The house red wine was surprisingly nice and being relatively light bodied slipped down far too easily!
All in all a very pleasant experience at a decent price, (£24ph for 2 courses and drinks), and they also had some set menus which looked even better value.
Overall my impression of the place was although everything was lovely they could be a bit braver with their spicing - it may have been coincidence of the dishes we ordered but everything was very delicately spiced. This will work well for many people but I'm a big fan of strong flavours. We ordered veg and non veg in starter and ask him to keep veg and non veg spretly bcs my couple of friends were vegetarian . first he was not able to understand what is starter he was asking for main course. after 15 min he came back with plates and he put everything together in one plate. we ask him to make veg different and non veg different . He was so confuse and when he couldn't understand the english he said to my friends leave from here. we were looking here and there where we'll go its already too late.
