Raw Bistro — Restaurant in London

Staff is unfortunately not as friendly as they used to be at Raw Deli. Used to get coffee, toasties and pastries from them all the time which is so so good and still is. It’s just unfortunate that the ambiance and staff isn’t as friendly anymore.

Update: I should change my review from 3 to 2 stars since their owner contacted me on my private Instagram about the above review and his second response was just shocking. That’s not how you deal with customers and it’s not even like I left a horrendous review. He clearly wanted me to change my review and when I mentioned ‘I stand by my review’ his later response was “I’m sorry you feel that way” and that’s it. Not even apologised for the bad experience I had. Why would you search someone on Instagram and question their review and then just answer with a snotty “I’m sorry you feel that way”?. Wish them all the best but unfortunately I will grab my coffee and toasties from a different place who doesn’t have staff with such attitude. Will miss their...

I’m quite skeptical of steak restaurants because I can usually cook a better seasoned steak at home but me & my Missus like to try out different restaurants and so far Flat Iron is our favourite BUT THISSSSS…. On a Tuesday night, wowzers. £39 for TWO steak & chips and a choice of drink (wine, beer or soft) what an absolute bargain! We had the crispy Camembert for starters & ordered a side salad with our main & 2 sauces for our steak. The salad was delicious, it even came with avocado and the dressing was perfect, topped with Parmesan cheese. 👌🏼 The bill came to £61 excluding service charge (we tip in cash) tell me that ain’t good! Not only was the food nice but the place itself was lovelyyy. A proper nice setting for a special occasion. The staff were friendly & attentive, we felt very welcome and we most certainly will be back! 💯 thanks for having us....

Quite possibly the best Steak 🥩 restaurant in London. This was our first visit and from arrival to departure it was a joy.

We arrived just in time for Happy Hour 🍹(4-7) , would highly recommend the Caribbean Shandy!

Our friendly waitress walked us through the menu, we chose salt and pepper squid and Camembert, to say they were tasty would underrepresent both, they were a culinary delight, both vanished very quickly 😋.

Main course was of course 🥩, I opted for the very reasonably priced 600g T-Bone and my partner went for the 300g Fillet, both were cooked to perfection (medium rare) and came with a generous portion of French fries!

Overall a wonderful meal and we both would very highly recommend this hidden gem hiding behind Raynes Park...
