Having been a regular at this restaurant, today the service at Raynes Park Lime &Thyme was the worst I have ever experienced. It is usually very good. There was no service tonoght, it was so bad. After 30 minutes our food order and drink order was finally taken, but later when the food arrived there were no drinks. When we asked for the drinks they finally came but the order was not correct. However, that was the onky drink we had. We received one drink and were never asked if we wanted another drink until we asked for coffee. Even then i adked for sigar but it never came. The waitress ignored everything we asked for. The waiter or owner was hyper but not attentive, and the waitress was inattentive. She ignored me whenI said I'd like to add my own cheese to my pizza and she proceeded to dump huge amount of parmasan on my meal which ruined it. Later when paying, instead of taking the payment 50:50 she took it all from one card and walked away. She was so disengaged I felt like asking for my money back. I won't return unless it turns our the real owners...

We have been coming to Lyme and thyme for 5 years. The food is superb, and most of the staff are delightful. However, I have had several bad experiences with one member of staff recently ?new manager/management. He has a very bizarre manner. On one occasion when I booked dinner, he insisted on telling me we had precisely 1 hour 15 mins to eat our food and we’d have to leave even if we hadn’t finished. He did not ask politely, simply insisted. This seemed odd as the restaurant was empty at the time and we’d booked the table significantly in advance. On another occasion he turned 6 of us away from an empty restaurant telling one of us it was because of upcoming bookings (we’d said we simply wanted a quick drink) and told another of us that he was worried the children would put off other diners. In a family restaurant. My family and friends will not be going again. He is ruining what was a lovely family...

One of the worst places I have encountered. Service was rude, unpleasant. Breakfast around 8£ consisted of 2 eggs, tiny teeny pancakes (size of a glass bottom) and undercooked bacon. Maple syrup was not maple syrup, when I asked to see the bottle the waitress (who assured me it WAS maple syrup) brought a plastic bottle of a "blend" of sugars of some sort. I asked for toast and wasn't offered choices , she brought me the cheapest supermarket thin crappy toasted bread slices. Tiny cup of coffee for almost 3£. I barely ate any of it and sent it back, said I wouldn't pay for that crap (I did offer to pay for toast and coffee) and fake maple syrup and the waitress got really mean and snarky. It's weird that I just had breakfast for the same price on Strans next Charing Cross that was huge , fresh and with amazing service. How does Lime and Thyme ceases to exist will remain a mystery....

Breakfast at Lime & Thyme. One minute walk from Raynes Park Station. Had Shashuka with extra Turkish sausage . What an excellent dish. Reminded me my grandma's lecsó ( kind of like ratatouille). Afterwards, I had crepes, which came with custard and fresh forest fruit on top. It's not too sweet or heavy, just perfect if you want something "cheeky" to finish with. For drink, I had my usual latte. Total bill of £22.46 , which, considering the portion, location, and service, I found absolutely fair. I have to praise Luisa and Alexandra for the service. 🙏👍 Not only "my table" , but they run the show together with the kitchen, when they had a lot of tables, mainly walk-ins. They did an excellent, outstanding job. 👏 Overall, it was a great breakfast experience. If I am around, I'll be back. Thanks again! 🙂

One of my late partners and my favourite eatery in Raynes Park, made all the more as if being a friend of the family each time we walk in. I have know Lime and Thyme for quite a few years now, over 26 years that I have been more or less) gone through the menu some five times I personally recommend the sea bream. SEE PHOTO They have revamped this dish The mussels add is an inspiration the other house speciality is escalope of Chicken on baked aubergine A nice touch to your time here is to have the Turkish coffee with a small peace of Turkish Delight. to end things off If planing an evening meal I strongly advise to book ahead especially for weekends as this venue gets busy. Cosy and yes romantic . Very friendly and attentive staff

When I visited Lime and Thyme I was very happy with the service and variety of breakfast options. They were very accommodating to my friends and I. We called up in the morning and needed a table at 11am for 8/9 people, they sorted it all out and were super inviting. It's quite a small establishment but is well lit and has a cosy atmosphere. The food was good, no mix ups, which tends to happen when we go out in a big group. Our server was great: super friendly, made some great recommendations, and was happy to help. Overall a great experience, only fault was that the poached eggs were not on top form, other than that I have no complaints. Would like to go again and try something a bit different
