Absolutely Disgusting – Avoid at ALL Costs!

Roosters Piri Piri on Lady Margaret Road, Southall is hands down the WORST food place I’ve ever had the misfortune of visiting. If I could give minus stars, I would.

First of all, the service was a complete joke. The person taking our order, some girl named Arona, couldn’t even speak basic English. How is she supposed to take orders if she can’t understand the customers? The order process was a total mess, but we were patient and waited a ridiculous amount of time for our food. When it was FINALLY ready, she told us everything was in the bag. We were in a rush for work and trusted her – huge mistake.

Once we hit the motorway, we opened the bag to eat our rice box meals only to find… NO CUTLERY. How are we meant to eat rice with CHICKEN using our dirty work hands? It’s beyond unacceptable. We called back and this same Arona had the audacity to say, “Pull into another shop and get some cutlery, it’s not my problem.” Excuse me? Are you serious?

Not only was the service an absolute disgrace, the food itself was even worse. The chicken was clearly not fresh – it smelled off and tasted rank. The fries were stale like they’d been sitting there all day. The “whole chicken” we ordered was completely burnt and dry – inedible.

This place should be SHUT DOWN. It’s like they’re just hiring random people off the street with zero training or care for customer service. Arona clearly has no idea what she’s doing and treats customers like they’re a burden.

Save yourself the time, money, and stomachache. Never going back, and I’ll make sure everyone I know stays far away too. Absolutely...

I'm torn between giving a 3 star or 4 star review. On balance, I've opted for a 3 star. I ordered food at 8.50pm. I ordered 10 wings and a burger. I was told by the cashier (and then the chef) the wings would take 30 minutes, I said I was happy to wait. At 9.15 I went back going the good would've been prepared and ready to go early as it was a Monday evening. No. There was a queue of Uber drivers all waiting for their food. I waited another 5 minutes until the time I was told and then spoke to the cashier. I was told another 5 minutes but waited 15 minutes. Other people who'd ordered after me received their food before me - which, if you've ever experienced, is a horrible experience. Nevertheless, the wings were good. The burger was ok, but fell apart when trying to eat it and the peri-peri fries were mediocre. Thinking about it, this could be a 2 star experience.

Called up to place a takeaway order, I asked the receptionist 4 tines if they did the tandoori chicken burger to which she confirmed yes, got alittle annoyed as she stated yes it's all grilled. I had a sneaky suspicion that she was confusing the grill with a Tandoor as well as my order being a chicken burger marinated in tandoori masala. Anyway didn't want to debate it any further.

Upon arriving to pick up my order, low and behold I was presented with a piri piri burger extra hot. I took it up with the supervisor who offered to give me a free can of coke, despite paying for a meal deal which comes with fries and a drink. I declined and paid £6.98 for the meal, which considering the size and portion, was expensive compared to a KFC who charge 4.99 for a similar meal if not better .
