Sherrards — Restaurant in London

This morning I waited outside the shop and a manwas in there for a considerable amount of time without a face covering. The bakery assistants were wearing masks but did not request that he wear one. I politely asked him to cover his face and he refused. I therefore left the queue and went to another bakery. I then returned with my bread and informed the staff that Sherrards had lost my custom . I realize that it is very difficult for your lovely staff to confront customers. Some shops in this situation will hand out a mask to a customer at the door. What’s happened to Sherrards? It has built up such a lot of goodwill over decades and it’s reputation is being ruined by rude and unhelpful sales assistants . The product is still great but it’s let down by the service. I went in this morning and they are unsmiling and actually quite aggressive when asked a simple questions . Such wonderful staff working there! Always smiling and extremely polite, I'd especially point out Osman? I hope that is his name and his female colleague Vida!! ♥️♥️♥️ who are such a credit to the team and made me feel right at home on my first visit! A humble and wonderful family owned business !!! Definitely recommend 100% if you're in the area!!
