We went in as we had an early start and were famished. It has an extensive menu but all we wanted was a traditional fry up. Reasonably priced for the quality of food on offer. Friendly service. The decor is an little tired. I want to give it more stars but unfortunately as things stand, I can't.

All the food is delicious and reasonably priced, I usually go for two eggs on toast at £3.90 or jacket potato with cheese and beans at £6.50 which is the cheapest and tastiest in the area believe me, some places charge 7.95 or 8.95 for a jacket potato with cheese and beans which is ridiculous.

We finally enjoyed a meal at this corner restaurant. The portion, taste and price is perfect. Definitely the right restaurant to grab some comfort food.

One of the best Cafes I've ever been to. I've been coming here for years, for lunch whilst passing by from work. The food is always very tasty, plentiful and delicious. The salads are always so fresh and crunchy. The prices are very reasonable for the generous portions. The open kitchen is in full view and always looks very clean and hygienic. It's often very busy, but service is still quick and efficient. Tables are always clean and fresh. The boss and his staff are always so polite and serve with a smile. Nothing is too much effort for them. Many locals like me have regularly been coming here for years which is testament to its quality. They provide a great community service, with many pensioners as well as school kids seen there catching up with friends whilst enjoying the food. I would give 6 stars if possible! Go try them out...you'll be back again for more, that's...

I had looked at the reviews before attending so had high hopes. This place may be great if you are middle aged and white. From my observations, that was the only demographic in there to receive a good service.

I am not in that demographic. Having placed my order before 8 other people in the cafe at the time, I watched them all receive their full breakfasts/fry ups served to their table. I had to ask one of the staff for an update on my order (a panini). They then brought it over.

I asked for a to go bag. I watched the member of staff do at least 6 non relevant or urgent tasks and simply just walk up and down without going anywhere near the take away bags. I asked again, to their annoyance it appeared before receiving the container.

As for the panini. It wasn't bad.

Would...

You will find this cafe on the corner of East End Road and Ossulton Way in N2. Rather popular with locals and working men who know a good place to eat. Typical greasy spoon in a good and positive sense. Place underwent refurbishment recently and looks better than before. Cook is quick, service is quick, people running the place or working in there are nice and friendly. Cafe is clean and obeys hygiene rules related to Covid19. Absolutely to be...
