Toulous — Restaurant in London

Very disappointed by cafe Toulouse today. We arrived it was half full. We were shown to a table and had cutlery thrown down in the centre. Ordering was abrupt. Drinks never came. Food arrived without any hot drinks, smoothies or tap water. Everything was a problem as if we were bothering the staff. We asked for the bill three times as being there felt so uncomfortable and went elsewhere for desert.

As we got up to pay, as no bill had come I said to who I assumed was the manager and had launched the cutlery at us that things hadn’t been good.

A very abrasive waitress misheard, launched in because she assumed (wrongly) we were criticising her … we weren’t… she got v defensive which only mad the situation worse as it wasn’t about her. She blamed the slow manager who had at this point slipped away.

Just a poor encounter. Good downhill me...

Was decent grub! I do sometimes wish that Google had half stars. It's not a 4 star but it's definitely better than a 3. But I do try and be consistent with my ratings so unfortunately they get a 3.

This really comes down to a few things, one the menu seems confusing as it suggests a meal comes in a certain way, then the meal actually does not. But that might have not been the end of the world however, the bread that was supplied was dry and getting stale. The salt beef as good as it was still was a bit dry and they forgot to bring some of our dishes out.

Unfortunately this leaves me with no choice other than a strait 3 stars. However I would be willing to go back so there is...
