Warning do not go! Not even worth one star. Terrible service all night the manager was rude but the waiters were getting blamed for everything and we're not even allowed to take orders. They were forgetting drink orders and we ended up waiting at least half an hour for one drink. The menu prices were different to what they were charging and apparently the menu changed 6 months ago but they didn't bother to correct the menus or even tell us about the new pricing, what scammers. Waited half an hour for a rice to come out when the main arrived first and the main was going cold had to ask three times for the rice and they started serving another table before ensuring we had all of our food. The manager missed about 3 dishes we ordered and was so arrogant acting like we did get every dish and tried to still charge us for it at the end. They even brought us dishes from another tables order. They did not even have a proper billing system. At the end of the night, we paid separate payments for our meals and they did not calculate anything correctly everyone was either under charged or over charged. The food was average nothing special you are not missing out on anything if you don't go. Go to Tamara lounge next door to have a stress free experience. To add this was for a birthday meal and they did not even make the effort to give us good service. We confronted one of the waiter's about the price difference in the menu and he did not even apologize non of them did. Ignorant manager and terrible service. NEVER AGAIN, HUGE...

I recently visited star of India restaurant and I was quite disappointed with the overall experience. To start with some positives, the service staff was friendly and attentive. They took our orders promptly and were polite throughout our visit. However, that's where the good experience ended. The owner of the restaurant was extremely rude and dismissive. When we mentioned that the biryani we ordered lacked salt, instead of apologizing or offering a solution, or taking it as a suggestion,he defensively remarked that the restaurant was meant for Europeans, implying that our feedback wasn't valid. This reaction was not only unprofessional but also insulting, especially since the restaurant clearly offers Indian cuisine.post which he was coming to our table again and again to explain these things and there by not providing a peaceful environment to have the food

Another major issue was the small portion sizes. For the price, we expected hearty servings, but what we got was almost very less, I cannot recommend this place.

While the service staff was trying their best, the owner's behavior and the inadequate portion sizes overshadowed...

Ordered through Uber eats and was sent the wrong food. Called the restaurant to explain and was handed over to the boss. He asked several times if I could just accept it... and when he realised I actually wanted what I ordered, he started telling me that I shouldn't order through Uber as they take a 35% cut (not sure how this has anything to do with the restaurant sending the wrong order). I was then asked if I could pick up the food as it would be quicker that way... this guy has got to be joking?! Why would I order a takeaway if I could just come and pick it up... Food arrives (second time lucky). It arrived an hour quicker than the first order so that's a good start. I took the bag and was asked for the previously incorrect dish back... There was no mention of it on the call and I'd really hope they wouldn't try to resell it so it ended up in the bin. The delivery driver calls the boss and I'm literally asked to take it out the bin...They took my bin food back to their restaurant.
