I been there today but really disappointed with the service and health and safety. I ordered two large pizzas for 6.99 each but when checked price on card payment device the total was 15.99 I asked girl to correct it and she held me at least for five minutes and she was keep taking phone calls after she called a man and told him that she told me price 7.99 each but I said I told her two biggest pizza in price of 6.99. The guy was so rude and started questioning about where did I read the price when the price is displayed on my back then I told him prices on my back are reflecting in CV19 screen on the counter in front of me and I saw price there. It was so simple to change the order before payment wasn’t made rather than arguing and questioning a customer I didn’t see any respect for the customer and no thanks at any stage even not in reply of saying thanks. They have to be friendly with customers Also issues about health and safety one is their air conditioning exhaust pipe was lying on the floor in main entrance door any body can fall over easily . Maybe they do very good pizza I haven’t tried yet but for the experience I had I don’t recommend...
Read morePoor hygiene: We usually like the pizza at Tops Pizza, Uxbridge road and often order for collection. However, my recent experience at the shop was disappointing. I ordered the pizza in person and watched how it was prepared by a staff member wearing pair of blue gloves.
While preparing the pizza, the staff took a phone call without changing gloves, then wrote down the order and continued preparing the pizza with the same gloves. She placed our pizza in the oven and proceeded to prepare more pizza orders, still wearing the same gloves. Shockingly, she even cleaned the worktop with detergent, still wearing the same gloves, and then continued making another pizza. In total, she made four pizzas, took a phone call, and cleaned the worktop all with the same pair of gloves 🤮.
The shop itself looks clean and tidy, but the way the pizzas are made reflects terrible hygiene standards. The staff clearly need proper training.
I hope the Food Standards Agency (FSA) will visit this place soon and regularly in the future incognito. It’s clear that this place is saving on gloves and affecting the food hygiene.
I will stop using this place...
Read moreI’ve been a vegetarian my whole life, and this was honestly one of the worst food experiences I’ve ever had. I ordered a paneer pizza from Topps Pizza, and I even double-checked the order with them. Still, they gave me a chicken pizza. I didn’t realise until I had already taken a bite — for someone who’s never eaten meat, this is not just a small mistake. It’s seriously upsetting and something that can’t just be brushed off as “confusion.”
When I called them, they told me to come and collect the correct pizza. Why should I go all the way again for a mistake they made? they later agreed to send a new one, but even then the apology didn’t feel genuine at all. The staff didn’t seem to understand how big of a deal this is for someone who doesn’t eat meat.
To anyone ordering from Topps Pizza: please open your pizza and check it before you leave. Don’t trust the label or what they say. Make sure it’s the right one. They told me it was a mistake, not intentional but that doesn’t make it okay.
I’m never ordering from them again. Super...
