It's unfortunate to see the decline in the quality of service at this once lovely little shop. A few years back, when it was managed by an English gentleman, it was a pleasant experience. He was courteous, kind to the kids, and maintained a clean environment. He is still there, however, since new staffs came in, ( they all from the same background) things have taken a negative turn. They seem to lack respect for customers, engaging in conversations in their own language, which can be off-putting. Hygiene has become a critical issue, with staff not being mindful even when wearing gloves. Reminding them to change gloves after handling money ( or bin) resulted in an unpleasant response. We have witnessed personal videocalls today behind the shopfront, just like in a private shop, and continued outside, even when he saw customers coming in.( didn't bothered)
As a long-time customer of this shop, I've witnessed its decline firsthand. I've always appreciated the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, but it's disheartening to see it deteriorate. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and considers either changing their staff or improving their training to ensure a better experience for customers. Read moreI have been a regular with Subway for the last 10 years, but this is the only store in the United Kingdom where I have been overcharged and mislead.
I was served by ALAM, who was professional and friendly, but unfortunately he has overcharged me.
I have asked a create your own, salami and ham sandwich, which is basically a BMT without the pepperoni.
Rather to be charged 7.79 £ for the create your own sandwich, ALAM decided to charge me 7£ for a ham sandwich and he charged me 3£ extra for the salami ?!? Why ?!?
I asked ALAM why the price is so steep and he said that for the salami I need to pay extra which unfortunately I was missold, in no other subway I had this problem before.
Basically 10£ for a BMT footlong without any pepperoni in it.
I have attached photos of the receipt and the prices on the menu on the day, I was 2.21 £ ripped off and because of this I will never enter in this store again due to being mislead, as a local, I will stay away from it.
Even if I had selected a meal deal with a cookie included, another member of the staff ( not ALAM ), tried to sell me 3 cookies instead of 1 for an extra 1 pound.
I understand that this Subway store wants to make extra profit, but you can't add extra cookies or extra charges on customers' receipts. Ripp off !

I ordered a Veggi Delite and the bread was stale, the vegetables were not fresh, and they forgot to add the cheese. The staff seemed uninterested and were slow to take my order. The store itself was untidy, with several tables left uncleaned. Adding to that they could not even warm the cookie for our kids saying that they are not allowed which a big lie as we all know felt bit awkward serving a different nationality shouldnt be any different but we know how some people still preach racism here .
This experience has made me reconsider returning to this location, as it did not meet the standards I expect from Subway. I hope that management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these issues promptly."
