The place is clean, the food is well made ,and the staff are friendly but I had a negative experience with one of the staff member whose name is Ali.
So the experience was that Ali, at some point, asked if I could do a review on this restaurant/takeaway here, sushi point in Chiswick. However, I told him that I can do it later, but he started to try and rush me to do it on the spot, in terms of saying like, it won’t take time etc. just one minute and him trying to dictate what for me to write, and I was just telling him that I will do it later at home and he does not have to worry. And genuinely speaking, I did not have a problem with doing that. But Ali, was just too impatient. In the end, I got my food and I told him “don’t worry, I can do a better one”, since I did put something as the review, then I deleted it, so he got I that I was only willing to do it at my own time at home. I believe if a staff member asks me to do a review and I accept, I do not have to do it on the spot(it’s not mandatory) unless I choose to. So I told him to not worry and I can do a better one and then I left.
When I came back the next day to show him proof that I submitted the review, instead of thanking me and being grateful I did the review, he decided to criticise me, calling me “slow” and saying offensive things to me saying that “I am going to struggle in the professional world.” In terms of if I have job , or in my career etc. anything to do with what I would choose to do professionally in my life. So I contradicted and confronted him telling him that I am not slow, I am busy person and i was just implying to him that I do not have to do the review straight away. I also confronted him on the way he was ungrateful etc. and other things. So now it just me confronting him as a whole on the things he said to me and on the way he was just ungrateful. After I confronted him , and he seen that I was not happy with the things he said he started saying that he was joking and he does it to people that he knows. And I told him that it’s not a good joke to do. And I don’t think he was joking at all, he just said that to try and cool things down in his way. So I left and after a while I went outside to go to co-op and take buy something not far from sushi point Chiswick as I live near coop and sushi point Chiswick. Now as I was going back home, he asked me if I deleted the review online and at the time and I thought it was still left up so I told him that I didn’t and he showed me his phone and I showed him mine and he showed me it was deleted. initially I submitted a review and I must have mistakenly put it on twice, so I deleted one, so I guess I deleted the other one by mistake. So I’m only speaking about this second encounter on the same day because, after that I told him that I did not like what he said about me struggling in the professional world, and I told him that it was offensive as I was walking and then he told me that he gave me discount, because I gave him a £10 note(physical cash), and I was going to pay the rest by card but he signaled to me that I don’t have to, so I didn’t pay by card .this was after I confronted him and him trying to abase the situation in a way, because it was not good on his side, like he was saying he was joking etc and he was telling me that he knows me , that I am a polite person etc. if and in those moments I was just telling him I am not slow, I have things to do and I was implying that I do not need to do it straight away.
So I told him that I found it offensive and I am not going going to struggle in the professional world and that I would do well in the professional world. And he responed by telling me that he gave me discount and I told him that there are more important things than money and then I walked away back home. When I said that, what I meant was more important things like, kindness, gratitude etc.
If it was me, I wouldn’t dare and try to rush a customer if I asked them to write a review. Or even think being rude to them.
The other staff are kind, the only bad exp....
Read moreI ordered Sushi Point through Uber Eats. The food came very quickly which was a plus and of course it was amazing. I ordered Chicken Katsu Curry, 2 Salmon and Avocado Temaki rolls, and 1 Crunchy Yakitori Salmon. When I was eating the Chicken Katsu Curry, it was a bit too chewy, so I checked and it was not cooked properly inside. I simply called Sushi Point to inform them about this.
One gentleman by the name of Amir answered my call, and I explained to him the situation. I must say, Amir's response and resolution was truly outstanding.
Amir immediately apologized for the inconvenience and assured me that they would rectify the situation. Their empathy and willingness to address the issue promptly impressed me. They even offered to replace the Chicken Katsu Curry with a freshly cooked one.
Not only did Amir handle the situation professionally, but their genuine concern and efforts to make things right made me feel valued as a customer. Their exceptional customer service skills left a lasting impression on me.
Overall, despite the initial hiccup with the Chicken Katsu Curry, my experience with Sushi Point was salvaged thanks to Amir's exceptional assistance. Their dedication to ensuring customer happiness and their prompt resolution of the issue have earned my respect and loyalty.
I highly recommend Sushi Point for their delicious food and outstanding customer service, particularly with the exceptional support provided by Amir. I will definitely be ordering from them again in the future, knowing that they prioritize customer satisfaction to such a...
Read moreIf you’re looking for a restaurant that ticks all the boxes for flavour, portion size, and atmosphere, look no further than Sushi Point Kew Bridge. The food here is nothing short of exquisite.
I tried the beef dish, and it was an absolute delight. The tangy flavour stood out in the best way, perfectly balanced and memorable. The beef was tender yet satisfyingly chewy, just how I like it. Every bite was packed with a variety of flavours, and the generous portion size was impressive. It’s rare to find a place that doesn’t skimp on the meat, but Sushi Point delivers with no compromises.
I paired my meal with their coconut juice, which was not only refreshing but creatively served in a real coconut, which is a charming touch that’s both eco-friendly and aesthetically pleasing. The drink complemented the meal beautifully, and at such a reasonable price, it felt like a steal.
The value here is fantastic. You’ll leave full, satisfied, and already planning your next visit. The open kitchen adds a lovely transparency to the experience, and the staff are truly wonderful, being polite, warm, and genuinely eager to help.
I can’t wait to return and explore the rest of the menu. Sushi Point Kew Bridge is my go to place for a meal, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious food and...
