Nice little green space to walk dog. Has some benches to sit on and a few tables at one end. Along the river are some mysterious, decrepit boats. Warning: there are a few locals that think public parks are their property to patrol. For a while I used to spend quite a bit of time walking around here with my dog at the weekends. On one occasion a young woman struck up a conversation about how she was part of the local community while a gang of four thugs were on standby 20 metres away. I explained to her that my son went rowing at one of the local clubs at the weekends and she went away. I walked past the thugs to check their intentions and confirmed they were there with her. Be aware of such criminals, they have no right to this land or to decide who to eject from it. Only afterwards did the whole episode make me angry, I'm sharing the story to prepare anyone that experiences something similar to be ready to just tell them to get lost or call the cops.

On my day of visit 10th May 2024 the park was beautiful. Clean and no litter around and the grass had been recently cut. All grass shavings were swept up too. Beautiful coloured wild flowers and a great play area if you have children. The local council have really made an improvement to this park since the recent upgrades with plenty of benches and picnic tables. With all the wildlife you can see on the River Thames as well as the photography opportunities there's so much you can do to relax.

A narrow linear park the former industrial docking site facilitating coal delivery to the large Gas Work Plant here. ( closed in 1963 ) Recently modernised and improved: a well maintained amenity with a small playground, some formal bedding, pathways, lawn, wild flower meadow and some original Dock fabric with instructive narrative boards. Uninterrupted Thames views but it’s the boat graveyard with rusting carcasses and husks that gives this place a quirky and memorable twist.

Slither of grass along the bank of the River Thames next to the Watermans Art's Centre. Many picturesque house boats are moored here with Lot's Eyot in the middle of the Thames behind them. At the right time of year it is full of stag beatles. Has a playground for wee ones, picnic benches, mature hedging against the raised wall of the road, sculpture of waterfowl. Adjoining towpath at either end of it. Very pleasant stroll of an evening with one's dog. In close proximity to the Watermans Art's Centre, Brentford Lock, Grand Union Canal, Brentford County Court, The Battles of Brentford Monument, Brentford Station, Brentford football ground, Musical Museum, Steam Museum, Kew Bridge, Strand-On-The-Green, Kew Botanical Gardens, Boston Manor Park and House, and Syon House...
