TASTE- Hampton — Restaurant in London

Great make over in this local eatery. For our choice of Sunday lunch food (Greek Salad, Chicken Cesar Salad, Butterfly Chicken Burger, Sweet Potato Fries) all tasted excellent! Chicken was succulent in the salad, looked to be dipped in homemade light batter in the brioche burger and a non oily, tasty dressing on the Greek was perfect for those watching the calories. Fries came presented in cute mini tin pie pots and all looked lovely on being served. There are 4 outdoor tables with a parasol over them for protection so you can sit in sun or shade when outside. Inside there is more space since the cooking area was moved to the back of the cafe and the addition of 3 American style booths inside makes it a fun place for friends or family to eat. Lovely smiling staff and a great menu encompassing eat all day breakfast items, freshly squeezed OJ, paninis and wraps, salads, burgers, stews and the ‘best falafel in town’ according to their board! As I cannot reply to yourself I have had to edit my review. I would have liked to have given you zero stars but that is not a option, Most of my reviews are bad as the places I like I go back to. I am sorry if your 'chef' cannot cook, I gave the plate of food back as it was too disgusting to eat, then went next door and had a lovely breakfast, if you want to check their reviews you will see mine with more than 1 star?!?! I LOVE this little cafe in Hampton. The owner is truly a gem of a human. He always has a smile on his face. This isn’t a place that rushes the food, so enjoy the atmosphere of what a local café should be. It's a great place to sit in the sun (when it's out!) and enough some great food.
