Play area for the children and tennis courts (4?) next to that. Popular for dog owners with bins available for poo bags. Benches dotted around the edge of the playing field. Not sure about toilets put there is a free carpark available. Very peaceful even with the sound of children laughing and screaming 😄 I'm looking forward to summer here as the tree will be fully covered by then and it'll look even better. Lovely little "discovery" I came across today. Note to self, leave the car at home and walk more. There's no telling what you'll find 💐❤️

Good park with playground for kids. Has swing, slide, climbing frame. Have toilets if required. Got tennis courts. People play cricket in the ground. Seen many dog walkers as well. Overall a nice place to bring kids or even walk with friends. For benches to sit if tired or want to just chat. Only thing is stopping me from giving 5 stars is dog poo on the ground sometimes and toilets can be a bit cleaner

Serene Park with Ample Green Spaces and Family-Friendly Amenities

Carlisle Park is a tranquil and well-maintained green oasis that offers a refreshing escape from the city bustle. Located in the heart of the town, this park provides a perfect setting for relaxation, leisure activities, and quality time with family and friends.

The park boasts expansive green spaces that are meticulously cared for, creating an inviting atmosphere for picnics, outdoor games, or simply strolling amidst nature. The lush lawns provide ample room for children to run around and play, while adults can unwind and soak up the peaceful ambiance.

One of the highlights of Carlisle Park is its beautifully designed and well-kept gardens. The vibrant flower beds and ornamental plants add a splash of color and fragrance, making it a delightful spot for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts. The rose garden, in particular, is a feast for the eyes, offering a variety of blooms in shades of red, yellow, and pink.

The park features several amenities that cater to families and visitors of all ages. The well-equipped children's playground is a haven for kids, providing a range of play equipment that keeps them entertained and engaged. There are also ample seating areas throughout the park, allowing visitors to relax, read a book, or simply enjoy a peaceful moment amidst nature.

Furthermore, Carlisle Park offers convenient facilities such as clean public restrooms and well-maintained pathways that make navigating the park hassle-free. The presence of staff members ensures the cleanliness and security of the park, adding to the overall positive experience.

The only reason I am not awarding a five-star rating is the occasional lack of shade in certain areas of the park. On hot summer days, finding shaded spots can be a challenge. However, considering the vastness of the park, it does offer ample areas with natural shade, and bringing a parasol or picnic tent can address this concern.

Overall, Carlisle Park is a serene haven that provides a breath of fresh air and a peaceful break from the daily grind. With its well-kept gardens, spacious green areas, and family-friendly amenities, it offers something for everyone. Whether you're seeking a quiet retreat, a place for outdoor activities, or a spot to enjoy a picnic with loved ones, Carlisle Park is definitely...

Lovely park only problem is the opening hours. They sometimes are a joke shutting as early as 4.30pm. Even 6.30 is too early which is the close time atm. It should open early too at 5 am for people who want to avoid the rush hour and close at 11.30pm for the same reason. Also the reason this should seriously be taken into consideration is that a CONSIDERABLE NUMBER of hours of the "peace" of that park are taken over by the school right next door. So when they are let in in the morning, then at lunchtime and also when they are let out at 3-3.30 it's the sound of children screaming for an hour each time. It takes up ALOT of the short time the park is open. So please Carlisle open earlier and...

I've lived in Hampton all of my life and have enjoyed Carlisle Park for many years it's got a great bowls and tennis facility and the playground is good for the little ones. But it's not the same as it used to be. With the local school and sports clubs hiring the pitches all the time the once beautiful lawn is now a patchy muddy mess. It's not comfortable to picnic on and if you want enjoy yourself on a sunny saturday morning, outside of school holidays, don't go here as it will be hired for football and the kids just use the bushes as a toilet. The toilets are dirty and unhygienic anyway so I guess it's the only...
