First off i would like to thank Amanda for her post, and my Wife and Leanne on the other website rating this pub, I had a lovely evening with my family at the Christmas Festival, then thought it would be nice to have a nice beverage in the local pub, to be turned down for having a tattoo on my neck, for one i never thought this pub was The Ritz or any other posh outlet, to be discriminated like that in front of the locals or customers , i was in shock and though it was a joke, till i said to the charming landlady isn't that discrimination, for her reply to be no ,the tattoo on my neck is my sons name that passed away with R.I.P. below the name, so sorry to here that is below the standards of this establishment, i will carry my sons name in pride ,and should not offend anyone, i will not let this rest here as i am going to look into this more, to save others feeling the upset as i had yesterday, if i am to recommend anyone that reads this to try The Worlds End, up the road, where you will receive a warm welcome from the bar staff, and the beverages are a lot cheaper nice beer garden where children...
Read moreToday I have experienced discrimination from the staff and the land lady. I was refused service for no valid reason or explanation to why. The bar man firstly greeted a group of three of us, there after refused us service. I asked the bar tender for an explanation to why and replied he doesn’t know.
