This was refreshing, I fancied a Thai and a friend of mine recommended this place. I appreciated the honesty of the man who said they are very busy and it can take up to 45 minutes for a delivery. Even though I was hungry there was no other Halal Thai places around so reluctantly said yes thats fine.
WHEN ORDERING The call was picked up quickly and I wasn't rushed, which is the better than the usual "please hurry up we have many calls today". I asked the representative what was good and spicy, I also told him I was thinking about the Duck Curry. He replied saying the duck curry in his opinion is not very spicy but mild and I may enjoy the Chicken Red Curry instead. I went with his recommendation but choose Prawn Red Curry instead since I was gone have the Chicken Satay as well for starter.
DELIVERY: To my surprise it came within 40 minutes which was was just great. The delivery man seemed in a hurry, was pleasant enough just that I was gone give him a tip for early delivery.
PACKAGING: It was well packaged, cling filmed around the plastic container ensuring no spillage on delivery, which normally others don't do.
TASTE: Tasted great, fresh and spicy, little bit more spicy would have been better, but than I guess I like spice and this may not be to everyones taste.
PRICE: I ordered Prawn Red Curry, Egg Fried Rice and Chicken Satay, this all came up to £20, A little high a price, around £18 in my opinion would have been better, but a small price for the luxury.
Great job, keep it up Thai...
Read moreWe’ve been regular customers for over 5 years and have always been satisfied if not blown away, but never again after this evening’s experience. For our mains we ordered chicken Penang, chicken red curry and prawn pad Thai. What arrived was two chicken red curries and a prawn red curry. I called to get this resolved and was told there had been a mix up ordering through the app and a replacement chicken Penang and prawn pad Thai would be sent. I then got a call from an obviously more senior person telling me I was wrong and that I had the chicken Penang and only the pad Thai was missing. Sorry but I know what a red curry tastes like! I said I’d been a customer for 5 years and I couldn’t believe he argued with me. The most shocking and disturbing thing about it was that he insisted on taking back the dishes I didn’t order unopened - are they giving them to other people?! Obviously I’d already opened them to find out what they were so couldn’t do that! NEVER AGAIN and with so many other options around I’m not even that bothered. Will report to environmental health as well as I’m concerned they are taking food back from customers, reheating and then...
Read moreI came here on a friday night with a friend, to try it out after a recommendation. We didn't book and we advised to try the set menu for 2. I have to say it was a great recommendation. There wasn't anyone else in the restaurant but had a steady flow of take aways. The guy serving us was nice and friendly and the food didn't take too long to arrive. You get a lot of food for the money and a nice selection. You get a platter of starters at the beginning of your meal. All were nice enough. Its a halal restaurant and they don't serve pork which my friend appreciated. The starters came with a penut and sweet chilli sauce. For mains you get a pad thai, 2 rice, thai green curry a lamb dish and a vegetable stir fried side. All were really tasty we both really enjoyed all the main. We were completely stuffed and will definitely come back. We grabbed a Thai beer and some tap water and was easy enough to park round the back near the sainsburys carpark. Give it a try and defo go for the set menu for 2 seemed like great value, we...
