Actually vile and inedible. I don’t write negative reviews as I know they can impact the business a lot however I actually felt the need to write one after I ordered through Deliveroo today and got what was the worst meal I’ve ever eaten in fact I didn’t even actually eat it because it was so inedible I ordered the crispy chilli beef which I normally order and the chow mein with it as a box meal. normally this meal is fine however when I arrive today, the beef was soggy and Steve at the same time making it incredibly hard to even grip with my fork chow mein was disgusting and they gave the smallest portion in. I selected the beef option and it tasted like pork which I’m not allowed to eat due to religious Purposes, I do not recommend ordering this at all unless you want to growing up for our end because the food would probably give you Food poisoning However, my grandma got the beef and black bean, which wasn’t very good either, but it was still slightly better. I have been trying this service off and on over the past few years and at the beginning, the experience wasn't bad, but over time, the quality of the food has got worse and worse. The food is terribly salty. The salt and pepper mushrooms have become so crusty that all you taste is crunchy salt and pepper. I just tried them again today thinking that they may have got their act together since the last time I ordered food from them, but honestly, I think this has got to be the worst experience yet. I was quite hungry so tried to manage the food, but mid-way through the chowmein, it started tasting like soap! I have never left a review because i thought perhaps I just got unlucky, but this has to be the sloppiest service to date. I can now without a doubt confirm that I will NEVER order food from this joint again. If there was a star line where we could score below one star, that's what they'd get....I'm sorry but this is appalling.

Update: I called them and was offered a replacement, which they delivered. Unfortunately, it still did not do it for me. Nice of them to try and fix the issue but perhaps they need to focus on the...

NASTY! They didn’t start preparing the food until an hour after I placed an order with them so I was hoping that the food will make up for the lateness. Sadly I was wrong!!

The food was inedible, wings tasted old (like those Chinese buffets where foods been sitting there for hours) and the ho fun was DRENCHED in oil. So much so that it flooded through the packaging and leaked onto my kitchen side and it all had to be binned. Plus the food was bland and the noodles were plain boiled and stuck together.

I’m praying that I haven’t got food poising but luckily got my money back through reversing the charges and showing my bank these pictures. After I sent them via customer service on Monzo I got an INSTANT refund - And Monzo doesn’t have the best buyer protection, so for those who have got food from here, it’s worth trying to get your money back that way.
