I would highly recommend not to eat or order from this place. Last night I placed an order from this restaurant and the expected delivery time was 40-45 mins on just eat. It then got delayed a further 30 mins by the restaurant and still had not reached me so I called up to enquire about my delivery and got told it would be an additional 10 mins. I understand sometimes delays occur due to unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances but it took a total of 2hrs and 8mins for it to reach me after my order was placed and I was given rubbish customer service from the staff. The person on the phone lied to me about the delivery time and could not keep me updated on the location of my delivery which I think is unfair and unreasonable. When the delivery driver finally arrived he didn't even give me an apology and instead tried arguing with me and caused a scene in front of others as well as calling me a liar claiming I didn't order when I said I did. Luckily, a helpful member from just eat was on the phone to me at the time and heard the whole conversation and rectified the problem for me so a big thumbs up to Alex from just eat. When the food arrived, my naan breads were cold and hard; the biryani tasted like plain pilau rice with a few bits of chicken; my chicken, lamb and prawn curries tasted like they all shared the same masala and was buried in tomato purée. Not a lot of choice I went to this restaurant around may 2017 one evening. The place is far from presentable, not just in need of decorating needs a whole new refurbishment chairs were ripped cloth was ripped and stained was dark gloomy run down, not pleasant to dine in. Such a shame as I CAN'T! !!! fault the staff on greeting us saying good bye, polite, smiling, so The owner of this place and management are to blame!! I regretted walking in here but felt so awkward to walk out as it looks as if you've forgotten your money or something. To say that I had a bad evperience is an understatement. The price is very cheap yes but it's not a good price if your eating it in somewhere your uncomfortable to eat due to it being run down which is an understatement its appauling. Unless I was unlucky on the very first time of ordering from this place , or the majority of people don't understand quality food, I can't quite fathom how anyone could be giving these guys a good review . The food was BEYOND oily and there was absolutely no flavour to the dishes at all . The saag paneer , does not contain proper paneer, as paneee does not melt into the spinach as it was with ours. The portions are very stingy (not that I could finish the dish anyway as it was not nice at all) and no popadums were given as complimentary even though I spent £22 on the delivery . Delivery driver was a nice guy and the food was on time - the only positive comments I have to say . One of the worst Indians I have had in a long time - this is the last time I try somewhere other than my usual place Palash in Elm Park , who are absolutely unreal compared to this .
