No menus available you have to look at what's written on the wall. So you have to stand right next to diners at their tables and read the wall.

A little while after our request for a printed menu was rebuffed, an elderly couple similarly asked for a menu. They both had mobility problems. She was a little more mobile so she had a look, but they ended up leaving.

What would be the harm in providing printed menus? I cannot imagine they change what's on the...

We've been going for years. It can be very busy so best to arrive early in order to avoid the queue. George is always friendly and his team seems to work well together. It's hard to say what you should order but I've always enjoyed the crispy bacon and brie toastie, along with the bread pudding they have. The desserts are pricey, but they are very big so understanble.
