The Brook — Restaurant in London

I will leave my previous 5 star review below and just update to say it’s still as good as it was two years ago. Menu is smaller than it used to be pre-pandemic but still a good selection and all tasty. Very attentive staff and family friendly environment. Still the best pub in Worcester Park. 👍

I posted a 5 star review of this pub about a year ago and thought I would update to reflect the current climate. The Brook gets another 5 stars based on our dinner last night (4th July - their reopening day.) Temporarily reduced menu but all delicious - my wife and I started off with squid, prawns and garlic bread. All excellent. Wife, 5 year old and myself all had burgers - which again, were very filling and tasty. Most importantly, the pub has really made sure that customers feel safe - Perspex screens between tables in the dining area and hand sanitising station in front of the bar. Perspex screens at the bar for when you order. The staff were very hospitable as per usual and I could see they were sanitising their hands frequently. A lovely pub in the high street of Worcester Park Shopping Centre. The Brook is clean, very pleasant, & spacious, with lots of light entering the building, making it a very enjoyable environment to enjoy food and drink. It's a nice spacious building, with a separate restaurant for customers who wish to dine. The atmosphere & ambience is very friendly, making everyone feel very welcome. The customers are lovely and respectful...no rowdy or hostility crowd at The Brook...the complete opposite...friendly and lovely customers. The staff are so nice...very efficient, very kind, very helpful and so welcoming of all customers.

My only major gripe is that The Brook has no decent WiFi for its customers. They rely on 'the cloud' WiFi, which provides very slow and patchy internet connection at best.

Come on guys...it's 2024...every pub has a quality internet connection in this day and age!!!!

Went there yesterday with my partner, my three young children and my two brothers in law. First time I've been in this venue and was immediately impressed with the look and the feel of the place. Welcomed with a smile and shown to our table. Very quickly a waitress came to take a drinks order and that was delivered swiftly. We all ordered food. There was two roast dinners, three children's meals and two lamb burgers. The food was delicious. Cooked to perfection, I also tried my partner's pork and that was so tasty I almost wish id ordered that! The children's meals were a good sized portion and nothing got left behind, even the peas!! We all had desserts which were absolutely amazing!! We had the molten lava chocolate cake. Wow!!! Everything here is reasonably priced and excellent value for money! The manager came and had a chat with us and was a lovely man!! Definitely be returning here sooner...
