However I don't understand why I was subjected to such mean customer service from your barmaid because my husband and I are only drinking soft drinks. We are still paying for beverages - they just aren't alcohol. Not that it's anyone's business except our own, my husband chooses not to drink alcohol and I am recovering from being sick - on antibiotics which are not to be mixed with alcohol which is why are only drinking soft drinks this evening whilst watching the rugby. I thought your barmaid was joking when she had a go at me for ordering soft drinks - "are these for kids?" but then her attitude changed and she kept having a go at me stating multiple times we need to purchase alcohol before relenting and giving me the second round of soft drinks I originally asked for. Read moreNot a bad pub, but I didnt like the fact that they don't have coke and lemonade on the gun machine anymore and I have to pay £2 and more for a little bottle. It's basically me paying for two drinks when I ordered one.
I used to visit this pub all the time and they did have the drinks on tap, but for some reason they removed it.
They do have food though and although I haven't tried it myself, I've been told by my mates that the burgers are really good.
