Wanted to leave my review without stars so please ignore the fact it has a star. My partner has been denied to reserve two tables for around 12 people to celebrate his 30th birthday due to his nature being an adult with ADHD. The landlord Brian was approached regarding this small gathering and we were told "no as hes too lively" when mentioned that he does in fact have ADHD the response was "he would drive away my other custom". I am absolutely disgusted that this is being used as the reason to refuse. It is discrimination towards someone who has a diagnosed neurological disorder. Never again will this pub...

If I could leave zero stars I would. Please ignore the star rating of this pub as it has been run well till the landlady left 3 months ago. My dad booked a month In advance to hold my mother's wake there and as soon as Brian the 'landlord' and I say that lightly, heard his friend needed that date to hold his own event there we got swept under the rug and told the place could no longer accommodate us. When we visited this pub had a fantastic atmosphere. The landlord and bar staff were excellent, welcoming, chatty and amicable, all what pub owners and staff should be. A couple of hand drawn beers on tap, and selection of lagers, wines & spirits on offer. Will definitely return here for a beer. Having now returned here, nothing has changed landlord,bar staff, and atmosphere still excellent! Keep up...
