Hot Spot Grill — Restaurant in London

It's so sad to see how much the quality of this place has gone down. This used to be my absolute favourite place in Croydon. Every now and then I give them another go in the hopes that they will have returned to their old quality. This was my worst order by far.

My chilli cheese fries had no cheese on them... The Louisiana burger was missing a hash brown. The brioche bun was burnt and I don't even know what they managed to do with the chicken. It had that texture of raw chicken when you bit into it. Chicken should not crunch the way that did. I actually checked to see if it had been undercooked, but if I can give these guys any redeeming points, the meat was white throughout. Regardless, I couldn't eat it.

They should give up on their dynamite chicken bites. The name sells you something much more exciting than what you get. There's nothing overwhelmingly wrong with them but theres nothing right with them either. I'm not sure where the dynamite part features either. You'd save money and probably get tastier alternatives down your local supermarket isle.

Hot out grill just down the road, have better portions, better prices and the food quality is brilliant. I believe these are the guys who used to run hotspot given that there's way too many similarities to how hotspot used to be.

The 2 stars are for the nostalgia from a place that I once rated 5 stars many times on my ordering apps. I hope they can salvage something and improve themselves again but I have a feeling this may be my last ever...

The wings were insanely good and so flavourful. Especially the bbq jerk and peri peri hot

The staff were super friendly and were so nice and even recommended various dishes and choice of flavour. Especially the friendly bear at the counter! 10/10 for customer service and so funny

This place seems to have gone through a transformation/new owner as last time I came the seating area was appalling but now it has such a homely chilled out feel! Although seating could be bigger but it fitted our family and was really clean and tidy.

We really enjoyed the chicken wrap and burrito and it was cooked to perfection and surprisingly so juicy!

I cannot wait to return again and could not recommend this place enough. Definitely has had a huge improvement since the last year I visited.

I a delivery driver for more companies like Uber Eats, Deliveroo and co. This shop has been always very unprofessional. Takes between 20-40 minutes to give me an order. Yesterday between 8 pm and 10 pm we had an order for someone called Adam, the guy gave the food to the wrong driver and after start screeming and accusing my husband that he gave the food to one of his frineds instead of admitting he gave the food to the wrong driver. And start telling him off for how many accounts is he using! What is his own problem as long as he delivers the food on time every time??? When my husband came back he apologies but all the time they are so so slow and talk to much instead of making the food way quicker. I can't waste 30 mintes waiting for their food instead of doing 2 orders i...
