Food (6 /10): You can't go wrong making an English Breakfast unless you are superhumanly incompetent. I dropped a star because I was frustrated that my eggs weren't runny. The latte was decent, however the tuna sweetcorn baguette wasn't worth £3.90. Could have made two or three better myself with ingredients from Tescos for that much. They serve breakfast all day (however long they are open for). IMPORTANT: They do offer a veggie breakfast, however the pan used to make eggs is also used for bacon. I was not informed of this when I called and requested details about their cooking practices for vegetarian food preparation. They did however clean the pan before frying my eggs. Price (Avg per head): £5-10. A little pricey if you get your order messed up. I ended up paying around £15 for 6 eggs, beans, mushrooms, a veggie sausage, vanilla latte and tuna sweetcorn baguette. Service (8 /10): The service was good. Although I made a mistake when asked if I wanted my fried eggs well done. I just nodded without realising what that meant 🤦🏽‍♂️. My order arrived with hard yolk. Not what I wanted so I got these replaced and paid £3 extra. I guess this was partly my fault, but whenever I have had breakfast and have asked for fried eggs, the yolk is runny. I don't have to ask for this specifically. There was no attempt to offer the replacement eggs for free, and I didn't want the incorrect eggs to go to waste so I paid the extra. Needless to say, I wasn't excited about this. Atmosphere/ Occasion: A small cafe, clean and relatively warm. If you are local it's good since parking is cheap (free for 30 minutes). I would not go out of my way to come here though. Didn't use the washroom but another reviewer mentioned that it was appallingly unclean.

This review is long, long overdue. I first visited the UK back in 2012. I was sightseeing when I came across this cafe. This was my first full day in London, and my first meal in the city, and it was very good. Seriously, it was exactly what I needed. The young woman who served me was very nice and she could tell by my Canadian accent that I was visiting. Fast-forward to 2018. This was my third time in London, but my second time eating here, and it looked better than before, and the food was even better, too. And to top it off, the same young woman was still working there, and she remembered me. I'll be returning to London next month, and I'll definitely be having breakfast here again!

Ordered from here for the first time, we waited an hour for the food to be delivered. When it did arrive, the order was incorrect. I ordered the veggie breakfast without eggs, and I got an egg. Not to forget the tablespoon of mushrooms. I paid £7.50 for this meal. When we called the cafe, they tried to tell us that I ordered the one with eggs, there were not aware what veggie breakfasts were available on Uber, until I corrected them. The lady was apologetic and respectfully did issue a refund. But definitely won't be ordering from here again unfortunately.

“I DO NOT EAT BEEF BUT GIVEN FOOD MADE ON BEEF GRIDDLE AND SHOWN NO REMORSE”

I give them zero.. Very disappointed as they COOK BEEF AND ALL OTHER MEATS AND VEG ON SAME GRIDDLE AND DO NOT TELL ANYONE. We do not have beef due to our religion the menu was not clearly labelled. My son ordered a Builders breakfast but not realising that burger on menu was beef. So when he asked thinking it was sausage he was told it was beef, he requested the food to be remade. I had a breakfast aswell egg, beans, hashbrown, bacon and toast. At no point did the lady say it would make no difference as they use the same griddle. My husband had a tuna sandwich where the filling was hardly visible. My husband asked for more filing and they just put more plain tuna on the top they didn't mix it with mayonnaise as it was done before. When I was leaving I had a thought I would ask if they use the same griddle as the beefs made on, the lady said yes. We asked her that why didn't she tell us ? especially as my son had his food. re done which they did which made no sense as griddle used was the same. Her explanation was that all her customers don't care and most people eat beef. There was no remorse. She was the same religion as me and didn't eat beef either but blatantly lied to get a sale. When I realised what I had eaten I felt physically sick and still do while I am writing this review. This bares the question why do they advise people halal or not but being a sikh did not make us aware of how they cook beef with everything else?Absolutely disgusted as we believe the cow as a sacred animal and regard it the same as a mother. Obviously these people have no morals on this. So Be CAREFUL WHAT YOU EAT, DOUBLE CHECK EVERYTHING IF YOU DO DECIDE TO GO THERE. I FOR ONE WILL NOT BE DOING THAT AGAIN. SAD THAT THEY COULD NOT CLEARLY LABEL THINGS OR BE TRANSPARENT INSTEAD OF LIEING TO GET SALES. Date of visit:...

Normally the food preparation at flying egg is clean and well loved. I regularly eat here when I fancy a good, clean and wholesome fry up. Today, however, was very different; hence the poor rating.

I ordered a No.2 (airport breakfast) whilst my wife ordered a No.5 (early starter). Despite asking for my egg sunny side up and runny, it was way overdone (in fact burnt!) and both my fried slices were visibly dripping with oil. Not good!

I won't be returning for a while. This was not a breakfast plate I enjoyed or I wish to have again. That is the consequence of knowingly serving sub standard food and consciously allowing standards to deteriorate.

I truly hope the flying egg management read this review and head the words I have written. Food quality cannot be compromised. As soon as one forsakes food quality through apathy, then everything else will start to slip....including customer loyalty.

Overall this a good establishment so I don't want be too harsh based on one bad experience. However complacency and implicit bad behaviour in the food business is a very dangerous road to follow. Sometimes there is...
