Our visit to The White Hart in Harlington was truly delightful! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The pub’s charming decor, with its blend of traditional and contemporary elements, made it a perfect spot for a relaxing evening. The menu was impressive, offering a variety of delicious options. I chose the beef Wellington, and it was absolutely superb – the meat was tender and flavorful, wrapped in perfectly flaky pastry. My companion opted for the vegetarian lasagna, which was equally delightful, with rich, hearty flavors and a beautiful presentation. The service was exceptional. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful experience. They were knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations, including a fantastic local cider that paired perfectly with our meals. To top it all off, the dessert was a highlight. We shared a decadent chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream, and it was the perfect end to a fantastic meal – rich, indulgent, and utterly satisfying. If you’re in Harlington and looking for a place with great food, wonderful service, and a charming atmosphere, The White Hart is a must-visit. We can’t wait to return!

An update to my previous 5 Star review. Went with family to have Sunday roast. The service was ok and got non existent when it got busy, the selection of beers and Ales was good. The menu still retains the pub classics. We all opted for roast dinners with an option for kids roast. Food arrived in good time. But the disappointment hit when we dug into our plates. To start with, my son's plate had the same amount of beef slices as mine. As for my plate, a slice and half of very thin beef slices, 3 quarters of roasted potatoes and a massive amount of cabbage mixed with some spices and mushrooms. The meat was tender but bland. The gravy amount was not proportional to the food. Really disappointed with my Sunday dinner. Hoped I will get some traditional roast ended with some weird plate with not enough meat, potatoes,or gravy that would be traditional of English pubs. Roast definitely not value for money. To highlight the magnitude of how bad it was, my daughter said if the food is this bad I don't want to have a dessert. As there was no one to ask to pay, I went to the drinks bar and paid. To be fair, the person asked about the food and explained what went through. He offered discount something inwdisnt want even.

We enjoyed our last meal before our flight at Heathrow at White Hart. It was quick and easy to get to from where we were staying at the Renaissance Hotel. It was a very large restaurant with many seating areas to choose from, both indoors and outdoors. Each table had a number, we ordered at the bar, and the food was brought to our table. There was also an online ordering option, but it wasn't working when we were there. The ingredients of the food were high quality. Notably for us, the chicken was higher quality than what is typical at mid-priced restaurants in the U.S. The prawns were cooked as nicely as if they were lobster, and tasted fresh. The Caeser salad had anchovies on top, which was a nice touch. If we weren't catching a plane early the next morning, we would have liked to try the Sunday roast specials they were offering. We didn't want to have such a meal so close to a long flight. We would definitely visit again next time we're near Heathrow. It was a tastier meal than another pub we went to in the area.

Outstanding Food & Exceptional Service at The White Hart, Harrington

We had a fantastic dining experience at The White Hart in Harrington. Every dish was freshly prepared, beautifully presented, and most importantly, seasoned to perfection—a real highlight of the meal.

For starters, we had the squid, which was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and elegantly presented. It had just the right texture—tender inside with a light, crispy coating.

For mains, we tried the pork chop, shepherd’s pie, chicken burger, and sausage & mash. The pork chop was thick, juicy, and expertly seasoned, making it one of the best we’ve had in a long time. The shepherd’s pie was freshly made, piping hot, and full of rich, comforting flavour. The chicken burger was enormous, with a wonderfully crispy coating and well-balanced seasoning. The sausage and mash featured a great selection of sausages, and the mash was exceptionally smooth and well-prepared.

Beyond the food, the service was equally impressive. The staff were friendly, attentive, and highly knowledgeable, particularly when it came to allergies and ensuring our son’s meal was safe. Their attention to detail made us feel very well looked after.

The only minor downside was that the room near the door felt a little cold at times. However, this was a small issue in an otherwise outstanding experience.

Overall, The White Hart delivers high-quality, freshly made food with impeccable seasoning and excellent service. We will definitely...

My first visit after many years, for convenience, on the off chance that food was available. I was warmly welcomed, and provided with a wide selection of choices from the menu. I only had an hour or so to spare, but it wasn’t busy at that time, so I ordered the pork chop with mash and greens. I settled in a comfortable corner, with a glass of extremely well kept London Pride ale. I was shortly delivered some apple sauce and perfectly clean cutlery. The meal arrived promptly and when asked if there was anything I needed, I jokingly replied ‘maybe someone to share it with!’ It was a very well presented meal, looking very appetising, and of very generous proportions. The meat was cooked to perfection, nicely char grilled on the outer, and tender and moist within (pork can so often be dry). I thoroughly enjoyed it all at a leisurely pace, there was no waste. As I prepared to go about my business, I took the time to share my thoughts with the staff member who had been ‘mine host’ , (my only regret- not asking his name) he was pleased to speak for a while and express the high standards of supply and service they aim to achieve. And he invited me to return, especially if passing on a Sunday for their legendary Roast dinner. I will, but not until I’ve sampled even more delicious looking examples from the menu. 😋 I recommend wholeheartedly. (I didn’t take time to note other details for guidance to others like accessibility or veggie options.. but...
