Great little spot in New Malden! The food is fresh, tasty, and portions are generous — especially the sweet & sour chicken and Singapore noodles. They also do a solid English breakfast if you’re in early. Since everything is cooked to order, you might have to wait a bit during busy times, but it’s worth it. Staff are super friendly, service is welcoming, and prices are very reasonable. A real hidden gem!

The Hong Kong–style Sweet & Sour Chicken is crispy, tangy, and a favorite among regulars. The Singapore Rice Noodles are flavorful but not greasy, making them easy to enjoy any time of day. I used to go London only to enjoy Lovely Chinese food but after visiting this restaurant I never go to London for Chinese food any more as Highway Cafe can offer everything I like.

Also, all the family members love this place. If you are a hungry eater, you will be satisfied with the portion of food and the original taste of China.

This place is not as big as Wankei in London but I guarantee the great taste of Highway cafe and it's unique cool atmosphere.

The home made chilly oil on the table is ready and enough to enrich the flavour as much as you can. Everyman comes with Jasmine tee. Various options can be chosen and I recommend special seafood and black Bean sauce or beef with oyster and sweet chilly pork Honking style...

We ordered stir fried noodles with seafood but end of it we got seafood noodle soup but we said ok but 2 wonton soup coming totally no flavor there but only water so we returned them When we paid,that owner (woman) even didn't give us the bill just said £29 so my friend paid and asked the receipt she said they don't have the receipt How??? we didn't think that much price so we worked it out only that came out £22 She cheated on us without knowing us When we said this situation,she couldn't give us money back and constantly shouting and swearing at us Unbelievable!!!!! Do we have to pay for some food which we did not eat and returned??? We will never come back again Never!!! Avoid this...
