The Star — Restaurant in London

Went there with my girlfriends family (European) , 2 of which forgot their ID, I went back to get it as they went inside, during the time it took me to go there and back (about 10 minutes in total) they were threatened to be kicked out twice and another customer tried to pick a fight with them (which the staff did nothing about). When I arrived back with the ID the staff did what looked like photographing it on one of their phones without permission as another inspected it (probably to find another reason to kick us out) after which she began needlessly commenting on how one of the passports were expiring soon so they won’t accept it next time (as if we’d be coming back). When we ordered drinks we again got no greeting were rushed, spoken to rudely and without any form of respect. Our drinks were handed to us as quickly as possible so that she could go back to talking to her friends. The name of the staff member who’d been causing all these problems for us was Sophie (I’d suggest getting served by someone else or better yet not coming here in the first place). When we went to go play pool (the only reason we came here) we could hardly play since people decide to sit right next to the pool table so you can’t move your cue back (despite there being plenty of seats elsewhere in the pub and us clearly struggling to play around them because they don’t want to move). Would definitely not recommend this place to anyone and will personally avoid coming here...

Walked over to the bar, pub wasn't busy.

A bar tender was serving a couple, finished serving knowingly we were waiting ignored us and served another person. Now been at the bar for few minutes, another bar tender comes along see us and says who's next someone orders a drink when I stated am I waiting here for fun...

A third bar tender turns up and acknowledged a local and serves them directly eve after seeing us awaiting there before the guys walks over to the bar.

Now the first bar tender finished serving, knowing we were still waiting after 10 minutes to get a drink, again ignored us and servers another person.

So annoyed, we walked away after realizing this is a racists pub and did not want to serve asians.

This people need to be educated and treat people equally and look past peoples colour.

Shame on all of you who allow this to happen...

Was coming for a quick lunch on the 24/9 and arrived to two unenthusiastic servers. Ordered 2 pints of coke, received 2 small glasses instead. 2 meals were ordered which was delivered personally by the chef in his uniform, which isnt particularly hygienic. The meals were also half made. BBQ chicken melt had no BBQ on it, and the nachos had sprinkled cheese that wasn't melted and no guacamole, with sour cream that tasted more like yogurt than anything else. We did let the server know at the time and they offered to have the meal remade, but we asked for a refund instead to...
