Tola — Restaurant in London

Do not hire Tola bar Peckham for a private party. I am appalled how you charge £400.00 for a private party from 8-11pm and then put restrictions on guests saying they can't arrive after 9pm! The lights were rubbish and when it was 11pm people were told to go upstairs where there were chairs on the dance floor and again the lights were rubbish. You basically ruined my daughter's 18th Birthday party by changing the rules after she had paid £400.00 You have not replied to our emails I sent after the party.

You had told my daughter her friends who are 17 years old did not have to bring ID and could stay after 11pm but then on the night say they need to bring ID which results in them not coming or not getting in! Which was not an issue in the first place until after 11pm. What a mess and how disgusting to take advantage of a young girl who trusted you. Why say one thing and then change on the night of the event! That is called...

What a gem! I was so surprised to find this little haven nestled in heart of Peckham. The roof terrace was such a pleasant surprise, in combination with the really intimate vibe. We arrived within the first hour, so in time for the 2 for 1 offer. We ordered the Peckham Passions, which I must recommend trying. But the icing on the cake had to be the staff and their service! I forgot to catch their names but if you guys see this, can I just say keep it up!! Such warm and friendly people who actually seemed happy to be there and more than happy to answer all our questions, which I find quite rare in other places these days. Thanks guys!
