Uptown Burger & Dessert — Restaurant in London

I’ve always hesitated going to this place however I was on my way home yesterday and was craving a bubble tea and saw that they had quite a lot available. However I asked for my all time favourite brown sugar and they all looked at me like I was stupid and said they’ve never heard of that before. Anyway I ended up getting a vanilla tea and it was horrible. They took about 10 minutes or so to make this and it took all 3 of them to figure out what to do and how to make it. Spending £5 on a drink that was disgusting just ruined my day. The customer service was just awkward with a big sign saying we don’t tolerate abuse when mannerism was exactly that. Will never be...

The cafe looks really swish, but it falls flat on food and service. Granted this is from one visit, but I think it will be the only visit I'll be doing to Jungle Cafe. There was one person working who seemed very inexperienced and was doing their best. Several people left without ordering.

My partner and I ordered ham and cheese panini. What we had when we got home was some very processed looking meat and processed cheese slices. One of the pieces of 'meat' had what looked like mould on it. Both went in the bin and we ordered from another local cafe.

I went to Uptown because of the good reviews, however, I was rather disappointed. I ordered food to take away and because the food was sealed, I was unable to see that the chicken wings were completely burned to charcoal. I also ordered a white chocolate cookie dough, instead I got a milk chocolate cookie dough with white chocolate sauce drenched all over it. I ordered a drink for my child but the drink was missing from the order. The chips tasted old, I couldn't eat them. The only thing I enjoyed was the burger.
