Great quick breakfast/brunch spot with a good amount of seating and nicely priced food! We came around noon on a Saturday, and got the last table for 4 in the back area that was decorated like a little conservatory. Food wise, we got a croque monsieur, a shakshuka, and a pain au chocolat. My favorite was the croque monsieur. We also got kombucha and fresh squeezed juices - all absolutely amazing. It's a very casual cafe. No reservations, just come.

Wanted somewhere nice to eat before the Arsenal game on Saturday. Don’t know the area so googled the night before, pics looked good so thought we’d give here a try. We weren’t disappointed 😍 My son had an amazing omelette & I had the scrambled eggs on sourdough, both were so tasty. Service great, I had an amazing kombucha to drink, good variety of flavours in stock. Would def visit again if we get tickets in the ballot next season.

I’ve been living in the area for 3 years and I regret I didn’t discover Vertige earlier! Had a Vertige Omelette as brunch and I absolutely loved it. The portion is perfect - enough to fill you up but not making you feel heavy afterwards, and it is not too greasy. The small terrace in the back is so airy and bright and I’m happy it’s not too crowded even it seems to be quite a popular cafe. I’ll definitely return and try more dishes!

To put this cafe into one word would be DELIGHTFUL! Im originally from Australia and have struggled with the food in the UK, as it hasn't got much flavour. Yesterday this changed for me when visiting this cafe. This was the best coffee, dessert and lunch that I've had since leaving Australia, that's 3 years. The coffee is just right, the chicken was incredibly soft with strong flavours of citrus and herbs. And most importantly the Caneles! They order them in from France and oh my they are just incredible (highly recommend the salted caramel). The customer service was brillinant, the woman who took my many orders was so very kind and patient. Thank you La Veranda Cafe, I will always remember my experience with you and hope to be back soon. Food, beverages, customer service, affordability and vibes were a 11/10.

Ive never taken the time to Google review a restaurant, cafe or any business in fact. But I just had to after the...

Nice cafe but sadly a 1 star due to the service. I was waiting for a friend and I just wanted to get a tea. 2.20£ is the price advertised, but that's only for takeaway. Eat in price is 3.50£, nearly the double... ok... The eat it price is not advertised anywhere.

Anyway, let's eat it. They're extremely slow to get my order. I get my tea and sit outside as they also don't have wifi.

I open my laptop and after 5 minutes the waiter gets really rude at me saying that I can't use laptop on Saturday morning 9am with the store half empty. I mention I was waiting for a friend and would have left in 30 minutes. They insist. Needless to say that I haven't seen any signs of laptop being not allowed at weekends.

And so here I am writing this...

Lovely cafe with gorgeous food and friendly staff! I was being quite greedy so I ordered shakshuka, the garlic and rosemary mushrooms and halloumi! And we also shared loads of bread and hummus/falafel too.

All the food was great - the bread was so soft and buttery! Labna with the shakshuka was perfect compliment to the rich tomatoes and the hummus was great. We also all indulged in the salted caramel brownie which was gooey and delicious! Good drinks range too, really nice Monmouth coffee and freshly squeezed OJ which I always love!

Staff were super friendly, and the interior was light and fresh and comfortable....
