So I was taking my cat out for a walk in her new stroller, and I suddenly felt hungry. I was craving Wagamama's, and to my surprise, I stumbled upon one nearby. While browsing the menu, I decided to order their crispy oyster mushrooms. I approached the restaurant and patiently waited for service, but unfortunately, nobody came to assist me. After flagging down a waiter who was cleaning tables outdoors, he called someone over to help. Eventually, a young waiter came up to me and bluntly stated, "We don't allow animals inside." Feeling disheartened, I turned away. What bothered me the most was not just the way he said it, but the fact that it was said at all. Reject my cat, and you reject me! They have just lost a lifelong customer.
It's ironic that these restaurants pride themselves on being inclusive with their nut-free pad thai and "woke" attitude, yet they don't allow animals inside. I was baffled by this inconsistency. My cat was in an enclosed stroller, for goodness sake! Despite my disappointment with their changing menu and ridiculous peanut ban, I've been a loyal customer at Wagamama. But now, I won't be setting foot in any of their branches again. Their food lacks authenticity and is merely a poor imitation of Eastern cuisine. It's clear that they are just another woke chain on the verge of collapse.
A special shoutout to that waiter for turning me and my cat away. Thanks to him, I now have extra cash to spend elsewhere on food that actually satisfies my cravings. So long, overpriced, peanut-free, vegan-loving, "inclusive" except for animal and nut lovers like myself! And to fellow animal lovers out there, who may choose veganism out of love for animals - don't bother visiting this chain if you can't dine with your furry friend. As for Wagamama's - save your apologies because I'm not interested. If you even think about responding to this review, I will not hesitate to take legal action. Keep your...
Read moreVisited Wagamama in Uxbridge last Thursday with my mother and we had a truly pleasant experience.
We both ordered the chicken and prawns noodles, a generous and delicious dish with perfectly cooked noodles, crunchy vegetables, and full of flavour. Nothing was overcooked or dry, and everything was served just right. If I had to nitpick, I would’ve enjoyed a couple more prawns, but the overall taste made up for it.
To drink, I had the Spicy Plums cocktail, simply amazing! Icy cold, slightly spicy with a touch of orange and plum that made it refreshing, tasty, and fun to drink.
What really stood out was the service. Pedro was fantastic, from the beginning he handled our order with care, immediately apologising for a mix-up with the table assignment caused by another staff member. He was attentive, friendly, and really went the extra mile to make sure we had the best experience, even recommending items we had been considering trying for a while.
One small detail I truly appreciated: my beer was served in a frozen glass, little touches like that make a difference and show attention to detail.
Now, we’re Italian and let’s be honest, we’re not easy to please when it comes to food, especially in big restaurant chains where you know much of it is precooked or frozen. But this time, Wagamama impressed us. The quality was there, and for two picky Italians like us to say that, it really means something!
Well done to the team, and thank you again Pedro, we’ll...

Visited Wagamama on Saturday with my family, and I must say, the staff completely transformed our dining experience. A special shout-out to Prasan and Bhavi, who went above and beyond to ensure that we all had a wonderful time.
As someone who isn’t particularly a fan of Japanese cuisine, I was initially unsure of what to order. However, thanks to the patience and guidance of Prasan and Bhavi, they recommended dishes that suited my palate perfectly—and I ended up really enjoying the meal!
My wife and I brought along our two children, who are notoriously fussy eaters, but the friendly and helpful demeanor of these two servers worked wonders. They interacted with our kids and made excellent suggestions, making sure that even the little ones enjoyed their food.
We ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Donburi, Vegan Yasai Yaki Soba with rice noodles, Chicken Ramen, Yaki Soba with chicken and prawns, Bang Bang Cauliflower, and Shitake Itsumami. Every dish was beautifully prepared, and with their recommendations, it felt like each item was tailored to our preferences.
The attentiveness, kindness, and genuine care shown by Prasan and Bhavi turned what could have been an average meal into an exceptional dining experience. Wagamama is lucky to have such amazing staff. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely consider coming back with my...
