Wenzel's the Bakers — Restaurant in London

Update: august 2025: First a warning for eczema sufferers: do not buy your bread here as it contains sulphur dioxide and trigger eczema. I just do not understand why this is in bakery bread. It gives me a feeling of distrust. Bakers that add things to bread that is not necessary. Just teach the consumer what to do with stale bread. I will not put any step in this bakery anymore as it triggered my eczema after not visiting for 3 months, and just eating a small white baguette I have to deal with itching again. And now the review for people who do not have any health issues, be warned, and continue you reading my review that I did a year ago, before knowing the reason that Wenzel's bread is the trigger for my eczema: I love going to Wenzel's in Harrow Weald. Friendly people. I come here often and they always show a smiley face. I buy bread loaves and sandwiches. They are all delicious. Only request for the company is to put some vegan sandwiches in your assortment. Some with falafel or avocado. There is hardly anything available for plant eaters. And the salads were also very nice, but it is not for sale anymore. Excellent service in this Harrow...

I went to the store to buy a baguettes. I asked a member staff if I can get chicken fried with sweet corn cucumbers and cheese but no mayonnaise. She goes we don’t have any of them she didn’t even check and also she said we don’t do that. I mention to her Watford do it and she replied Watford is biggest store we don’t do it simple. Very rude bad attitude with customers. Watford near the stadium is smaller than Harrow and they are very polite and give great service. Her name was prata I think. Very bad attitude she need some training how to talk to customers. Wonder why they having bad reviews, She was an Asian lady serving me and another colleague she had with her but they didn’t even care what I wanted. No thank you or sorry when I left the store. Never had a good experience at this wenzels, if it's not on the shelf they can't be bothered to make it. Won't put a slice of cheese into a chicken and bacon baguette and call it a chicken club. Only reason I ever came to this one is because it's close to me and I've been disappointed every time. The only time they had everything I wanted they didn't put anything through as a meal deal, argued with me about the refund and then went through the dodgiest process ever to get money back. I will never be using...
