This was the first time my wife and myself have visited this restaurant, to be honest I have passed it a few times, but I thought it was a take-away and not a restaurant, but stuck in traffic the other day I noted that this was not the case.

I checked some reviews and they were mostly positive, so tonight we gave it a try, we were not disappointed!

The restaurant was busy, both with take-away and sit down customers, we were shown to our table and offered drinks and given menus.

After our drinks were served, we ordered our starters, I had hot & sour soup and my wife Vietnamese prawn rolls, both arrived together, within 10 minutes and we’re both superb, the hot & sour soup was as described and the prawn rolls as delicious.

We were then asked if we were ready for our main courses, we said yes and they arrived five mins later.

We ordered Sizzling Fillet steak in Cantonese Sauce, Sizzling Spicy Sea Food, Singapore Chow Main and Shredded Chicken Chow Main.

The dishes arrived and the aroma of the sizzling dish’s made your mouth water, they tasted fantastic, even the Chow Mains we'd ordered were very flavoursome and enjoyable.

The bill came to £69.00, this included a Tsingtao, a large bottle of still water and a bottle of South African Sauvignon Blanc, that complimented the meal perfectly.

If I was being really picky, the interior decor could do with a spruce-up, we will certainly be visiting this local...

I visited this restaurant recently and I was utterly shocked when receiving the receipt, They had added a £1.10 extra charge on to the drinks, Charging £3.10 when on the menu it stated £2, I know it’s not a huge difference but it’s the principle of trying to scam customers, Furthermore the coke can they gave me was from a multipack which stated not to be sold separately however that wasn’t the case in this restaurant, I am just shocked with this poor service that I have received even after they tried to justify having new menus, But to be honest the as a whole restaurant it’s not the greatest, The food was oily and quite fatty, I had to send some dishes back. And to end it all off they tried to charge service charge with their service being utterly poor, I just thought they were taking advantage of their customers… Will not...

Have been a Wongs customer for 15+ years and I am shocked at how greedy they have become with their prices! Quality of food has gone down hill, can barely taste any soy sauce when it comes to their chow mein or fried rice! And the portion sizes have gotten smaller! And to add insult to injury the past few times we have ordered at least £35 worth of food we never receive or free prawn crackers! Was quoted £42 for a small order of Large chicken chow mein Large special fried rice Sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style Chicken and sweet corn soup Curry sauce =£42!!! Rang another takeaway in collier row and was £31 for the exact same order and the quality in food was miles better. With free prawn crackers! Lost a loyal customer from your greed and...

We are a couple bumping into this restaurant for a quick lunch in mid December. There was no waiting staff standby and no other customers in the restaurant. The owner served us attentively. We ordered wonton soup, Singapore noodles, seafood crispy noodles and a bottle of wine and an extra glass as a top up after meal. I particularly liked the seafood noodles. The ingredients are fresh. We didn’t wait for long for our food although the kitchen was busy with takeaway orders. The restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated with Chinese arts. Not much atmosphere around because it was empty other than our table. Our bill came to around £60 including 10% service charge. Overall, a nice experience.

First time trying this spot after searching for the best Chinese takeaway in Romford. We was impressed with the quality of food, taste and quantity. The pricing was also affordable compared to other takeout restaurants. They do a free delivery service which was nice. Will definitely order again.
