Have been frequently visiting this cafe over the last 18 months. Initially we came for the quality of pastries which is exceptional and has remained consistent throughout all our visits. However we now visit for the warmth and community of this cafe, and always enjoy my time here. All of the staff are very friendly, accommodating and welcoming of babies and dogs, making for a great environment.
Focusing on the food, the plain croissant is amongst the best in the city imo and the jalapeno cheese roll is a fantastic savoury delight. Coffee is also very good, consistent and the baristas are quick and attentive.

As regards to the croffin; then the crispiness, the numerous flaky layers, the taste, just amazing! Read moreThis morning I visited Wood Street Bakery Limited and had a great experience. I picked up a couple of coffees — really good — along with a rum and raisin bun and a gluten-free almond cake. That almond cake was exceptionally good: moist, full of flavour, and incredibly fresh.
They also sell granola (I bought some!) as well as coffee beans and other lovely products. The place is spacious and filled with natural light, a very inviting spot to sit and enjoy.
