AVOID AVOID AVOID !

We attended for the 'New years eve' event which was an absolute disaster, not only did we spend £25 per head (8 people) we left after ONE HOUR because the food was inedible. Please tell me how you can charge people £25 for chicken wings, chilli con carne and CHIPS!!!!! food was discusting we could not eat it. This is meant to be a meze restauarant with not one bit of this turkish food in sight. The staff were rude, when we asked for the 'complimentary drink' that comes with our ticket, we were told NO by the staff member, and that we were only allowed this at MIDNIGHT!!! You could not tell who was or wasnt a manager in this place as the whole team were untrained and unkind. I have a friend who doesnt drink alcohol, no alternative was offered. A friend who doesnt eat meat so the only option for her meal was chips. The rude man behind the bar offered her crips as her dinner and laughed. This place is a horribly run establishment.

After the experience I called The Coney to explain to the manager the bad experience we had and what we would be offered in place of this as a gesture of good will. I was told by a lady that the manager is off sick and no-one is able to deal with this in her absence. I left my number and name and expected a call back. After a week i called, to be told the manager is still off, should there not be a manager in place when someone isnt avalable ??

I still to this day have NOT recieved a call back, an apology or anything.

We will spread the word that The Coney IS NOT the place to go and spend your...

Took my mum here for Mother’s Day. Very disappointed, and so was my mum.

Where do I start the waiter and manager didn’t have any basic people skills. Was rude and arrogant. Took them a long time to come over with the menu and ask us what we would like to drink. We ordered a platter four us to share and I don’t know how could four people share that, I would say honestly it’s enough to feed two people. Absolutely shocked with the service that we had to encounter today at Zana’s restaurant. Manager especially didn’t have a care in the world when we tried to talk to him about the food. The lamb was slightly under cook, and have been on the toilet three times since I’ve left the restaurant. They didn’t even asked us if we was happy after the food was put on the table which what a waiter would normally do. They also forgot the salad with the platter. At the end of all of that we had to go up there after trying numerous times to get the waiters attention to bring us the bill. The only decent person was a guy called Reece I believe he name was to pay for the bill on the way out . Very disappointed because the restaurant has a lot of...

This place…. Is certainly not what you see on social media. If anything I think the place should be taken over by a more understanding team. How do I start by saying a complete shambles sunday was. There were no technical issues before we go down that line it was the lack of staff I only see 4 member’s of staff the whole day and yet the restaurant continued to let people pile through the door.

We waited an hour for drinks…. Starters were terrible again not what you see on social media.

The main well…. Ā£85 for a platter for 4 people. It definitely was not enough maybe for 2!!!

No sauces or no salads came with it when asked having to flag a waiter down 20 minutes later he said oh yeah we forgot.

Well I will be forgetting this place and would say this is quite frankly the worse place to eat in West Wickham

I do hope the manager gets his head of out the clouds and actually starts apologising to customers.

By the way the cheap cuts of meat didn’t go down great either when two members of our group fell I’ll Sunday...

Not often do I scream 5 stars from the roof tops, but yet here we are. Popped in for a cute midweek meal and the vibe, the aesthetic, the decor was all a win. The restaurant was clean. And when I say clean, I mean the tables shone, they were not sticky, no crumbs on or under the table. It was a quiet night, which suited us perfectly. The service was good, the cocktails were made with the right flavours. The food was plated well with vibrant colours and fresh ingredients. So tasty. Malbec was well suited for our meal. I was so excited to eat I forgot to take pics of the main, but meat was succelent and chips fresh, chili and garlic sauces simply yum! Toilets were clean and stocked with the essential hand soaps and bog rolls and even the fussiest toilet user would of been happy to use the bathroom. The Venue also served shisha in the covered outdoor area which looked comfy. I would recommend this branch of SMOQUE if you prefer a classy, easy parking and wheelchair accessible place to enjoy great food, drinks and maybe even a shisha.

Wouldn't recommend nor would we come here again. I have to say that the serving staff were lovely and friendly for the most part. The starter was nice however the beef burger main was very greasy yet the meat tasted dry inside at the same time. We were asked if we would like the desert menu and we said yes. It never came and after half an hour we decided to get up and ask for the bill. This took another 10 mins and me asking for it a second time. Not really acceptable given the restaurant was not busy at all. Heard good things about this place hence why we went but not again I'm sorry to say.

Zana is a great addition to the neighbourhood and every time we go it gets better. We decided to celebrate my sons 18th birthday there. The restaurant couldn’t have been more helpful in letting us set up balloons etc earlier in the day and in organising the cake fully timed with the professional singer to sing happy birthday. We pre ordered sharing platters for everyone so the food just arrived, like being on holiday. The guests loves the singing and the belly dancing. Just a tip, any left over meats taste delicious in Tiger bread sandwiches the next day.
