Bromley; is it London or is it Kent? Who really knows?? What I do know is that @therealaleway is leaning fully into the Kent beer and cider producers with it's selection of the finest tipples from the Garden of England. You can expect the full micropub experience when you walk through the doors: ▪️Super friendly staff that are knowledgeable and give you real customer service. ▪️Friendly Locals. ▪️A welcoming laid back atmosphere. ▪️A local beer you have never heard of before. If you're fond of a micropub that is highly rated by CAMRA, get the Real Ale way on your radar.

This was a wonderful surprise after a long walk over Hayes Common, and ideally located opposite Hayes railway station. It is rather like stepping into somebody's front room in the 1960s, with a small bar in the corner and the beer fetched from barrels out the back. The pub serves real ales, ciders and wines produced in Kent; no food is served except nuts and crisps. Service was friendly and knowledgeable.

In a hot day, all I like a chilled beer. Found it in front of me when I was out of station. Really relaxing atmosphere with friendly staff. He has knowledge of beer. Good range of real ales kept in good condition. Good location just in front of train station.

This is a review for the West Wickham Station Road location, not Hayes - they don't appear to have registered the new shop on Google as of yet

Really pleasant Friday evening here with a great selection of very reasonably priced ciders and beers. I had been put off thinking it would be another £6+ pint place that would sourly disappoint but I was wrong! Just hope the prices don't creep up unexpectedly. Especially enjoyed the lemon and toffee apple ciders.

Would be 5 stars but for want of some constructive criticism I thought some soft background music and maybe some colour thrown in to the decor wouldn't go a miss! Couldn't help but feel I was in someone's dining room at times. I'm 25 myself so probably slightly below the targeted age range but given my other options are an overpriced pint of Carling at the Railway or dare I say a visit to the Swan, enjoying drinks here I hadn't tried before was a very...

Awesome if you enjoy REAL ales and ciders... Straight from the barrel and delicious flavours. Would DEFINITELY recommend... Great atmosphere... Doing a great job Greg & co....

Update... Every time I visit, it reinforces my original review. How can you beat REAL ales and ciders? Keep up the great work guys 👍👍

Nothing changes... still some of the best ales and ciders around. And the best thing? because everything is natural/organic with no chemical additives, you wake up without a "morning after the night before" head..

Still...
