Haven't tried the food yet but the landlord and lady are very welcoming and personable. Really nice, friendly atmosphere, no cliques, clean toilets and clean throughout pub. Saw a brilliant band here 'Brothers from another cover' on a Friday evening. The venue is very nicely decorated with a great vibe. It felt very homely and everyone engaged with the band. Being on the edge of town, it tends to appeal more for people wanting to have fun without necessarily looking to get blind drunk before moving on...
